About Hair Inc
Hair Inc was born in the year 2012 in Capilano, Edmonton south east neighbourhood and in just 3 years in 2015 we outgrown our space and we have been fortunate that we moved to a bigger location in south central Edmonton a.k.a whyte avenue which is known for its nightlife and Edmonton best art district. We are passionate of what we do and what we have accomplished, and staying true to oneself which is always grateful to the love and support our clients, family and friends has given us through the years.
With a strong commitment to education and always learning the fine art of hair, In 2019 Hair Inc yet again grew and opened a 2nd location called Hair Inc Academy, (www.hairincacademy.ca) the first ever Government approved digital boutique Post Secondary School in Edmonton Alberta Canada in the field of cosmetology, certifying students from the following: hairstylist’s, barber’s, makeup artist, nail tech, extensionist and many more.. We are not just making people look and feel good anymore but coaching our next generation in making their dream become a reality.
Our goal at Hair Inc is to always give you the highest quality of service possible while chilling at our cosy atmosphere NO DRAMA, NO BS, NO JUDGEMENT just good hair..
We don’t just care about hair at Hair Inc but also our beautiful planet, that’s why we partnered up with Green Circle Salon to recycle and repurpose everything we use at the salon and academy that normally will get thrown away and would end up in a landfill.

I go to Katie and let me tell you, she is amazing, every time I take a photo with me of the style or color that I want she just nails it, she understands what I like, never seen a bad face, no attitudes, very down to earth staff with experience. My friends ask me where do I go and I'm happy to share the name.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great service, great staff, great cut, great colour. I was welcomed happily as soon as i stepped in, even though i was a few minutes late to my appointment. Was offered water/coffee/tea right away and i was sat down. My stylist, Ashlea, was knowledgeable, friendly, and very skilled. Other stylists talked to all the clients in the room, even though they all had their own clients. From decorations to staff attitude, the whole place has a calm and home-y feel to it and i loved it! It was all in all a wonderful experience. I live all the way in the west end but i think ive just found my new go-to salon! ;)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a great experience at Hair Inc and a great haircut. However, I am new to Edmonton and booked online after looking at the pricing, which said $55+ for a women’s haircut. When I went to pay I was told the cut was $90. I was shocked. I was told that was the price for a senior stylist. I do feel like I am at fault because I should have inquired about the pricing levels for the different stylists. However, I just wanted to write this here in case the information will help others. If I had known the rate I would have not gone here. I will say the salon is really awesome and I do recommend if it is in your price range for a haircut, unfortunately for me it is not right now.

David is truly a hair artist, bringing creative ideas to the table that don't just mirror trends, but set them. He and I collaborated on my hair, and I continue to get a steady stream of compliments on my style. He's taught me a lot about hair, which has helped me learn so many ways to style it. I've never loved my hair as much as I have today, and each day gets better. The salon is living work of art itself, changing often. Paired with the amazing Brandy at the front desk, getting my hair done has turned into a highlight of my month (and a highlight of many other people's!). I can't recommend this place enough.

I really appreciate that she listens to my ideas/suggestions and tweaks them so that I always have an excellent haircut! I've had hairdressers who did whatever I wanted and because I'm not an expert would end up with a less than stellar style.
