Our goal is to give you great hair at home. We carry a range of hair care producs from Innersense Organic Beauty, Davines and our few favourites from Evo. Our scrunchies are locally sourced by Ang Hill Designs. Eliasz and Ella is an Edmonton based jewelry designer with bracelets, necklaces, earrings and rings.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My first experience at Filament was awesome. I loved the hip but laidback vibe in the salon. Danica cut, coloured and styled my hair beautifully! She gave me some helpful tips about styling and walked me through the process. I am super happy with the outcome of my hair and the wonderful service I received. Danica was great to chat with but I also appreciated that she just let me relax and read my book. :) I caught some glimpses of what the other stylists were doing and they all seemed amazing too. It was all around a great experience, I will be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just got an absolutely killer haircut from Lisa Dee here @ Filament. Love the job she did, and she has mad awesome barbering skills and got me exactly the professional haircut I needed for job interviews! Also, place is very professional and clean, and they are following all the COVID rules to a science, so I felt very at ease and in good hands during the whole process. Price was very on average for a good haircut, but you definitely get the value of what you pay for with Lisa!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kajal and get team are incredible humans. They are constantly learning to ensure all clients are satisfied and represented. Their space is incredibly clean, tidy and organized. The stylists listen to what their clients want and offer they professional opinion to find a style, cut, and/or color that you'll love. They also teach their clients how to use the products you're buying from them, so you have salon styling, even at home. I would always recommend Filament Hair to anyone who's looking for a new place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recently got a haircut from Santina and I absolutely loved it! Santina is very professional, friendly, and really knows her stuff when it comes to hair health and styling. I will definitely be going back to her again!
I really enjoyed going to Filament -- their salon is very clean and has a great atmosphere -- very minimal, modern, and organic feeling. I also really appreciate that they carry and use more natural products too! Highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kajal has been the only person I’ve let near my hair in years, and I don’t know if I could trust anyone else at this point. She’s the perfect level of talkative and confident, and I’ve never once left her feeling regret about my cut. Kajal is an amazing stylist and business owner, and her staff are equally friendly and knowledgeable.
Filament itself is a clean, hip, and open environment. There’s free wifi, refreshments, and amazing products for sale for you to peruse while you wait.
Editing my review to add that Kaj and her staff have been incredibly responsible with COVID measures, keeping the best interests of their clients, staff, and public health in mind.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was my first time at Filament. I booked with the apprentice, Taylor, on December 7th. She was excellent. Taylor paid attention to the small details, taught me about hair health, friendly, great conversationalist, and gave me an amazing trim for my long hair. She knew how to shape my hair into a style that was easy for me to maintain. And as an added bonus, when I asked her to show me how to use a hair donut and to make a bun, she was so patient! I walked out knowing how to use that little gadget. It was a fantastic and educational experience. I’m definitely going back to see her again for next appointment.
