★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a disappointment this business is. What began as a gift turned into a nightmare. The return policy stated on the receipt does not reflect the actual outcome. The decision appears to be at the whim of the owner unfortunately. The staff we encountered were helpful and courteous but all that was lost on the mood of the owner. A positive customer service encounter will reach about 10 people but a bad experience will reach close to 70. This is a well known fact. There are many other like businesses in Regina. I would chose one of them over this one.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were very disappointed in our experience. Got an absolutely stunning backyard design drawn up by Jesse, however our budget was not considered even in the slightest. As we move through the project we feel we are having to make concessions because of the unrealistically high expectations the Rusty Shovel set. I understand you are not the end landscaper and cant control the prices however you should at the very least know the cost of your own products and be able to apply labour rates to figure out approximately how much your designs should cost.
Would not recommend.

They have replacement parts for underground sprinkles, fountains, landscaping machines to help with your project and so much more.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ These folks used to appreciate the value of great customer service however maybe that was when they were first starting up as solid customer service is no where to be found these days. I guess this must mean business is good and they feel that there is no longer to provide good customer service.
The good news all the Aqua Scape products they sell can be purchased far cheaper on line and you do not have to deal with the stunned look on the owners face when you go in and purchase products as he sits there looking like he stunned and could not be bothered to say thank you for shopping with us.
I have alleyways gone out of my way to buy local but this guy is doing his best to make customer want to buy on line.
Well, no problem, done.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After sketching out my design on a piece of paper, I scheduled a design session with Jesse. I'm so happy I did as he pointed out areas of improvement but also reaffirmed some of my ideas. The result was a beautiful backyard I was proud of. They were always willing to help with any questions I had. It's very evident the team at Rusty Shovel is passionate and cares about their customers!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have to say that I have received the best customer service I have ever received anywhere from the Rusty Shovel over the last month. I was having issues with my underground sprinklers and they literally walked me through step by step how to troubleshoot it, how to fix it and followed up to see how it was going. For under $10 in new parts on a system that was purchased from them years ago, they worked with me like my business truly mattered to them. They taught me so much and Terry went above and beyond!!!
