I had a pair of dress shoes reheeled and another pair with an annoying squeak fixed. Both were well done! This is a great little shop with friendly and knowledgeable staff. They carry a lot of high-end shoe care products and polishes, including Saphir which can be hard to find.

Very unfriendly slow service. Unhelpful. Super rude. Below is a copy of another customer's review: "I have just read all the "owners respones" from The Quick Cobbler. The responses to customer complaints are highly rude and defensive. Quick Cobbler seems to refuse to take any feedback from their previous customers and public at large. That is a disturbing business model and at minimum a poor personality trait of the individual at Quick Cobbler that does their responses. I was going to come in and get my shoes reheeled today and was just looking up the hours of operation despite the low star score on google. BUT, due to the embarrassing responses from Quick Cobbler I will not be going to them for further service. It will actually now become a joke I make to friends when we drive past the Quick Cobbler. "Did I tell you guys about that place?? They are such a (small)-minded business with this crazy sized ego." Interesting marketing Quick Cobbler." Very rude owner!

The only reason Iโ€™m giving 2 stars is that Iโ€™ve had shoes re-soled here well previously. I dropped a pair of booties off here 3 weeks ago for a wash for staining to the leather and re-soling. They called me last week due to a question about the wash and Iโ€™d missed their call. I have called back 5 times now, no one returned my message, no one picks up the phone even when itโ€™s business hours. Had to go in person, no work has been done on the boots at all and then it was going to be way longer for them to be done. I leave for a months long trip this weekend and was hoping to take these shoes with me. They did refund me, and give me my shoes back, but not even an offer of a future discount etc. Giant waste of my time.

Not a customer centric organization. I had caught the lining of my boot in my zipper and could not take my boot off. I called in advance and told them the problem. They told me to come down. As soon as I came to the store, not one person made any effort to see if the problem was a quick fix. I shared that only the top ling was caught in the boot zipper. They did not leave from the back of the counter and stated over and over we can break your zipper and to repair it will cost $130. I requested if they could just take a look and they said no. I knew this could be fixed so I called another cobbler 4 mins away on Cambie and 16th area. What a difference is kindness, service and attitude! Within 5 mins the shoe maker was able to see and dislodge the lining from the zipper with zero damage to my boot. He even went further to help cut the top part of the lining to prevent this from happing again to me. This is a small family run business and type of local company I want to support! People who care!

I brought in my blundstones with the original soles that were crumbling like a pie crust. The staff here are very helpful and explained that it may take a while before I get them back as it was the busy season which which didn't mind. When I got them back they looked brand new! The new soles feel great but the right boot feels slightly smaller then the left one which is interesting.

I sent out a pair of my haix protector pros that I've had for 4 years to get resoled and new toe caps put on. The service right from my initial contact through to shipping and delivery back was fantastic and the quality of the work is extremely exceptional! I have no issue sending my boots halfway across the country, actually all the way across the country the next time they need repair. Thanks so much for the great service!

Took some leather boots in that needed new soles, some seam repair, and a waterproofing refresh. Quality of work and materials used were outstanding, couldn't be happier with the finished product. Unfortunately, the boots were over a week late (this was in addition to a four week lead time) because they were running behind, which was a bummer. That said, I'd definitely recommend The Quick Cobbler for your shoe repair needs, just make sure you have ample time to spare...

A few months ago, I brought in my wedding shoes to be altered to fit better - they got the job done for a very reasonable price (it probably would have been quicker, but I was not in a hurry). This week, I brought in my favorite Fluevogs that have been scuffed up a bit, and they came back looking like new. Staff is courteous, prices are good, and they give a solid time estimate. So great to have a place to repair shoes so close!
