★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vern and the Power Centre were awesome to deal with. When you phone for help they actually answer and assist you with all of your questions. They also don't play games. I just bought a tv and all the big box stores were making a simple purchase extremely stressful. I know its covid but that just more reason to offer better customer service, which the Power Centre did and others did not. Thank you for all your help.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recently purchased a new phone... within two weeks phone started acting up...brought it to store and they sent it away to be looked at. A month later it was returned with the same problem. Advised staff that issue has not gone away...phone is brand new should not have to deal with this.....was advised it was NOT their problem and that I had to deal with Tbaytel....they just collect money for signing people up on new contracts... No offer or attempt to work something out or help me in any way, after years of loyalty at their store...just purchased a fridge /dishwasher / a number of electronics (thousands of dollars worth)....all my previous phones....etc....buy local...and this is how you are treated? Terrible customer service...very frustrating as the phone is very expensive.... apparently online is the way to go......

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff lacks knowledge on basics of new products. It took them 1.5 hours to (unsuccessfully) transfer data from one phone to another before they gave up. I went home and did it myself with instructions I found on google.
Manager was not helpful when discussing other issues with the poor service provided while trying to purchase a new phone. Manager stated multiple times that all of the service issues were “human error” - end of discussion. I ended up choosing not to purchase a phone and instead bought the same phone on kijiji for a significantly lower price and was able to keep my current plan despite power centre’s claims that the phone needed a more expensive phone plan to function properly.
Poor customer service as compared to previous visits a few years ago.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Brought car in to remove car started and reprogram original FOB as the car starter FOB had stopped working. Was told they could provide this service. They removed the car starter but didn't reprogram the FOB. When I called to ask about it they told me that's not something they do. Not what I was told going in and basically paid full price for half the job. Wouldn't recommend, unfriendly poor customer service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I bought my TV here from Vern, and he was super knowledgeable and personable. All the staff were very friendly and helped make my shopping experience pleasant. My parents ordered the same TV, but unfortunately the screen on theirs was damaged in shipping. Sony said they wouldn’t cover physical damage. I called the manager at The Power Centre, Dave, and he assured us right away they would take care of it. He arranged an exchange the very same day right to their house. Dave was so awesome to deal with! My parents are now enjoying their new TV as well. I highly recommend The Power Centre, they have an awesome team and take really good care of their customers! Thanks a million Dave, Vern and everyone else who helped us out along the way!!!
