Wonderful venue. They have sweet balconies. Two coat checks one upstairs one down stairs. The top floor bar is the best and has great air vents that blow cool air. The stairs were a little slippery. So be careful if you go upstairs. The bathrooms got pretty slick by the end of the night. Security was fast and did their job well while not being intrusive.

Great venue in the city for music (live or dj) as it's been for many years. Location is prime whether you're taking a streetcar or driving from out of town. The sound quality is good and the balcony is useful if you need to sit for a bit.

It's a great little venue (I saw Wolf Alice there). Some random tips. If you don't want to stand, try to get there early and head upstairs - there are three rows of seats there (one has little bar tables for your drinks, the top one has big comfy couches, and the bottom one is sometimes reserved). There's two bars on the main floor and one at the very top. Bathrooms are all the way downstairs in the basement - clean and modern, though I'm not sure why they have bathroom attendants still. Doors opened at 7:30, and there was a line of a few hundred waiting to get in. Not a big deal, but if it's cold out, it might be. Staff were friendly enough, and I had no issue with security - they were all polite. Parking is on-street or local green P parking. I parked 10 minute walk north and had no issues getting there. If your favourite band is playing there, do not hesitate to see them. There are no bad views.

I like this venue! They follow the COVID protocols. Everybody wore their masks the whole show except for those people drinking.

Love this venue, great size to have a sizeable crowd but still intimate. General admission concerts are the best. Why have a bathroom attendant in such a small bathroom? I'm really pee shy and am unable to use the bathroom while an employee is essentially pan handling in the bathroom.

Amazing place to see live bands. Toronto heritage building originally used for Vaudeville! Great sound and decent food with patio.

The Opera House is a nice intimate venue. I actually love it. Except for one thing. They must fire their security vendor. Telling (not asking, but actually threatening with consequences!) patrons to leave 50 seconds after the last beat drop is just disgusting. I've never seen such rude security guards. Won't be attending again.

It’s a wonderful venue almost 32yrs of providing the local and international artists a venue to perform. Good and drinks are available and the sound quality was wonderful but above all the lighting was exceptional. Definitely recommend
