★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recently taken over by and now managed by the TV icon Dini Petty, The Celebrity Club is an unique venue featuring live music by very talented performers. Sadly, it is only open Friday and Saturday nights. You can eat, drink, and be merry (pub atmosphere) for less than 20 dollars. A great place full of extremely interesting people.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This a private member only small bar that is part of PAL ( Performance Arts Lodge ) a retirement home for those in the entertainment industry. It is run by volunteers, so getting service can be a challenge. But this is a fun space with some excellent to average live entertainment open only on Friday's.

The building has its own bar and separate stage area for performances as well as rehearsal spaces, art studio, and library. There is on site medical support for the aging community . Across from St Lawrence Market and close to a lot of restaurants and bars this is a great place to call home
