Well I decided to treat myself to a nice lunch. That sadly was not what happened. Here is what I ordered: calamari, Rubin sandwich with a side of Greek salad.
The calamari was so over cooked it was all like chips. I think there were a few pieces that were chewy but the rest was just overcooked crispy pieces with little taste.
Then I opened the “Greek salad”. Tomato, cucumber, green pepper, carrots… wait never have I had carrots in a Greek salad. The dressing was some creamy goop with I think lime and dill. It was disgusting. I threw it out. Okay last item Rubin sandwich. How can that go wrong?? Well it was dry tasteless beef on toasted whole wheat with a bit of sauerkraut. I should have taken a picture. So disappointing. I nibbled a bit on it but ended up throwing that out too. So my “ treat” that cost over $40 bucks for lunch turned out to be a fail on every level. I just can’t see trying again. Sorry I don’t like writing bad reviews but I just can’t not say anything. Wow no comment from the restaurant. Guess that’s another reason not to go back there ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Completely unacceptable experience. We went for brunch. I ordered Santa Fe salad with dressing on the side- I’m not a dieter or even a picky eater, I just cannot stomach too much dressing. The waitress asked if a “drizzle” of dressing on top was ok with the rest on the side- I said yes. My partner ordered a Denver hash. Food came out; salad was weird, lukewarm rubbery chicken absolutely swimming in thick mayo-type flavourless dressing with half the bowl being canned corn. Inedible. Barely touched it. My partner got halfway through his substandard bowl of scrambled eggs and hash browns (looked to be McCain frozen)when he realized it was missing all of the meat. These meals were $15-$20 each.
The waitress came out and asked how our food was, we said it was not good and one missing all of the meat. She did not ask any questions or offer to do anything about it, just went and got our bill. I believe she said “oh, sorry, I’ll tell the cook for next time”. Incredible. We were shocked to see that there was zero discount. One meal was being sent back uneaten. We asked her if she was really planning to charge us full price and she went back into the restaurant, came out and offered $2.00 off. We asked who had made the final decision about taking $2 off and she advised that it was the owner. Never again. $60 for a vegetarian scramble and two ceasars on special.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were a group of 24 and the staff bent over backwards to get us served with a most excellent, cost effective, tasty breakfast all well keeping pace with all of the rest of the customers. Our needs were anticipated, Staff was very polite and we ALL had an excellent visit, Thank you very much:) We will be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had an Amazing time. I originally ordered the bbq pulled pork sandwich with gluten free bun. And the waiter caught on that I may be celiac and warned and confirm with the back that the bbq sauce may contain wheat. I’m thankful for him doing this! I ended up with the Tuscan chicken sandwich with gluten feee bun and oooooh my goodness, soo tasty! Will definitely recommend. Great food even better service!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the second time we have been here, from today's lunch I would say don't order the house special ! Their burger was decent from our first time here, however this particular pizza was flat.
For me tipping is a given. The young man seated us courteously, coffee was hot and good so it was worth a bit of a wait. My wife ordered a salad and I the pizza which was good and hot. I've already explained about the first half of my pizza however leftovers are a half the meal or more in my case. My wife and I traded and I ate the the salad which for leftover was a good start. I figured that she would eat three but only two made it. Then it was time for "sweet chilly sauce " because I put that s**t on everything.
It was better than decent !
I will go back.
Oh right, 20% it's my minimum.

I had the boss burger with poutine and it was really good. My friend had the fries bowl, super good.
