The Loghouse Pub

Friendly waiter, was there with my mother and 2 brothers last night and had the ribs wings and fry combo. The wings were a little overcooked but they tasted great, I liked the ribs, the fries were a little soggy. Aside from that I had a good experience.

Wife and I had some friends join us tonight and we all had a great time. Food was fresh and tasty, and the highlight of the evening was our awesome server Megan! Thank you Megan for your awesome, super fun energy!

Arrived at 7:55 pm to be told kitchen is closed at 8pm (hours on website show open until 9:30, no mention of early kitchen closing)so they would not take a food order. Saw people arrive after us and a meal was delivered (maybe they called ahead?) Asked for beverage recommendations, server wasn't very informative, she was more interested in flirting with my attractive friend. Ordered 1 drink, server asked if we wanted our bill? Did not feel welcome in the least. Will not return

Update to this review. It wasn't but a few days following when I got a message from this business. That in itself speaks volumes about this business. After providing additional details for the management team; I was told that steps were put in place to ensure this doesn't happen again and I truly believe that will be the case. I understand that all businesses over the course of the last 2 years have to make some service adjustments; and this business recognizes that. Knowing that my original review has made positive changes ensures that I will continue to patronize this pub/restaurant. Oh; by the way, I now believe that it's OK to bring that birthday cake for the enjoyment of your special person. I hate writing negative reviews....however.....here's why this one was written. Phoned the Loghouse to find out if I could drop off a special birthday cake as I wanted to treat and surprise my daughter with a very special birthday. The staff "OKed" the delivery; according to the staff - now that the mandates were dropped it was business as usual. Delivered the cake and candles an hour before our dinner reservation and requested that the staff deliver the cake with candles lit AFTER our dinner dishes were cleared. I also informed the staff that I would be wearing the same shirt (easy recognition) and to pass along this information to the evening staff; which they agreed to do. Dinner; which barely made the average grade, with my daughter was fine; the dinner dishes removed and I waited patiently for the cake. Nothing. I asked the server about our cake and she didn't know what I was speaking about. Then she said it wasn't allowed. After discussions with both me and the kitchen staff; who all agreed that everything about the cake was "fine", she disappeared for about 5 minutes then returned with the cake still in its packaging box with the lid open and with lit candles on top of the cake. For some reason; the cake couldn't be taken out of the box, put on a plate and served that way. My suggestion; if you plan on celebrating a birthday with a loved one at this pub; LEAVE THE CAKE AT HOME or at the very least supply TYPED instructions for the serving staff.

Great neighborhood pub. Nice vibe on a Friday night, live band, friendly staff, happy hour and good old fashioned pub food. Check this place out.

Always a great service and good pub food! You will be well received, well treated and will have a nice ambiance at this pub. Nothing fancy, but everything to discover! Wish they had a better selection of craft and local beer.

My friends and I go here at least once a month for lunch and every once in awhile we switch it up to dinner on Wednesday nights when they have steak and prawns and the steak is fantastic! For Lunch ,my recommendation is the pork schnitzel. I have to say though our chickens strip order was way overcooked last time we went there. But as a rule everything is really tasty the seafood crepes are great. The waitresses are very friendly and very efficient. Entertainment is starting up again at the pub and that is always a really really good time great clientele great audience participation.

Aaa-Ron (Aaron) at the bar is delightful! He will remember your drink of choice and make great recommendations! He crafted delicious cocktails for us. The Potato Skins were very good and a fair portion. The ambiance was pub style with a Large Beautiful fireplace. ? ?
