Great golf course.all new sand in traps ,just love this atmosphere here great bunch off people

Good greens pleasant staff means a good golfing experience. No clubhouse facilities is the only downside.

Course is very poorly maintained with few amenities offered by most courses. The ongoing construction made for an extreme eyesore. Overall the course was not enjoyable and overpriced.

The area is under construction for homes. But we did okay as once you get past construction it is okay. The course has been discounted for the inconvenience. We will be back for the price and based on our abilities, it will sit is fine. Not for everybody.

September 1, 2017 I had the misfortune of playing The links at Georgian Sands this past weekend. I called ahead mid-week and asked about the conditions of the course and I was told it was “Amazing”…if there was ever a more misleading statement I’ve certainly never heard it. There was a laundry list of problems with this course: No functioning website (should have been my first clue) No food and not licensed, (no half way house or beverage cart either) Almost impossible to find, the clubhouse is the same building as the housing developments sales center At least 6 holes are in construction zones due to the housing development 3 holes seem to be put together out of the scraps…one hole you have to hit a short iron off a par 5??? Cart paths were atrocious The course itself was dry and discolored…not green I had to call the clubhouse to get directions to a hole as it was not terribly marked Tee boxes seemed to be just cut out of a patch of grass (almost like temporary greens), some had no grass at all…just black earth Yardage markers were not accurate The cart we had was garbage, kept stalling $60.00 is a good price for golf with a cart but the course needs to be playable first At the end of it all I spoke to the gentleman running the desk as well as another female associate, they had the opportunity to do the right thing (which was to own the issues and offer me a refund for misleading me) but instead they defended the course by saying “we’ve never had any complaints before” which I cannot imagine to be true and “what about the greens? Weren’t they in good shape?”. You can’t call a course amazing if the greens are the only redeeming quality (and they were average…not amazing). The short version is that you should stay far away from this course, spend a little more money and drive into Collingwood to play Montera, Batteaux creek or even Cranberry. Ranking: 1 out of 5.

Having worked at several golf courses in the area for the past 30yrs my imoression of the ownership is most gratifying. The super a d his staff are doing a fantastic job on golf maintainancejvery courteous and reliable.The inside staff do an equally impressive job of service and courtesy, Joan and her staff all are to be commended for their efforts

good for customers, but i wouldn't work here for another minute. was there for over a year hand raking the sand bunkers, pulling out a daily rebuilt beaver dam by hand, rebuilding a hazard wall by hand and struggling to operate an irrigation system with my limited experience of working with tech at home. not only was the physical labor draining and miserable the groundskeeper will rest assured that you have all the insults required to do your job in the worst possible mood on the daily, of course i had to keep my mouth shut because i need the money coming in right? on top of all of this, the groundskeeper has the audacity to fire me over the phone on the weekend HE GAVE ME saying "HQ says they're not pleased with your work." HQ does not exist, the inconsiderate groundskeeper just wished to wash his hands clean of me with no guilt. my point is if your a golfer your gonna have a good time on the expense of the workers being treated like machines without gas. especially if your a young worker, if they say a golf course is the best starter job it is not here, they will put you in work that requires machinery or vehicles that they dont have and make you do it by hand. I dont know, its a good place to golf but if i played i would go somewhere else just so i cant support the working conditions.

Absolutely the best resort golf course in Wasaga Beach and surrounding area and I've tried them all. The staff are warm and welcoming. The golf course is in great shape. The four tee decks provide a challenge for all level of golfers. Great bang for the buck!
