If I could give it a zero I would! Poor service from the starters and outside staff. Lady at desk amazing but there is no changing anything. Guy comes up after I paid and says have you checked in? I said yea, he says are you sure? I said is it the same place you pay? He said yes, like this was my first time golfing or being there. Get some young blood out there and boot the old hags. Rude and absolutely no service skills for us to enjoy the round. Also no cart for beer or anything. Go play lora bay or other surrounding courses. Also they need to pave their cart paths

Absolutely terrible experience from start to finish. Staff inside were super unorganized, the course is alright, sand traps are terrible, cart paths are dusty as hell and if you rent a golf cart be prepared to head in at 7:30 pm (an hour before you lose light) because they are under staffed. This has happened twice so it will be my last time out there. Would recommend as last resort around Blue Mountain!

Can get very windy, but that just adds to the challenge! Water on almost every hole makes ball placement a must. Incredible grounds keeping and the greens are tough! Loved playing here and will definitely be back!

Played Aug 2021 with my partner - I'm a 8 handicap, she is strong lady golfer distance wise, but still learning the game and shoots double bogie golf - I played the Blue 6700 yard tees she played the Yellow 6000 if I can remember correctly. We both really enjoyed the course - generous landing areas off the tee, many different types of holes, and the greens were simply amazing (they had a tournament a few days before and the greens were running very fast - loved it). I would classify their sand as waste areas - so it isn't what you might expect - it's extremely firm - you will need a low bounce wedge - I loved it because I could really spin the ball but I think most higher bounce wedge / higher handicap players will not. My lady finished bogie, par, par, par, bogie for the best 5 holes of her life. Just read many reviews that the staff wasn't to their liking - not sure what happened previously, but we checked it, left on time, had a great round and plan on playing again.Shot and 84 carrying half a set and loved the place. If you want a nice lounge for drinks and the view this isn't your place - Lora Bay is what you want. If you want a beautiful layout, generous fairways and lovely greens - I would highly recommend it.

Generally excellent value for money. The course is a good test of one's skills with risk/reward in many places. My only real course criticism is the lack of elevation changes - but there is nothing they can do about that. Compared to Monterra and Cranberry, the course is not expensive - and it is an excellent track to walk. I have found the staff to generally be friendly but sometimes favour the members. The practice range is grass and in good shape, if a little pricey. Distance markers would help. The course is in good condition at the tees, fairway and greens. Some of the traps still suffer from COVID damage - no racks for a long time and not enough preparation. I have enjoyed a number of rounds this summer.

Upon check-in, there was a lovely lady who was helping us, very personable. My husband went back in to ask where to grab the cart - and the lady must have stepped away - my husband was then told by a surly old man he can only pick up a cart after it's paid for (fully implying my husband hadn't paid yet). Move on to the actual condition of the course: abysmal. Oh sure, it was green. It was also so soggy I couldn't walk across a fairway without spraying water or sinking into water wherever I stepped. The cart paths had gaping potholes and were covered in water but it was "cart path only" (which we didn't know at time of booking). The cart itself screamed (horrible high-pitched keening sound) when we hit the gas pedal, and we had to use the choke every time to get it started back up. Every. Single. Time. When hitting out of a fairway or rough, you could barely even take divots: it was just an explosion of mud. When my husband contacted the course manager about the poor condition (and the exorbitant price we paid to play in these conditions), he was advised that the value is fair because they are "open late in the season". Open late in the season is not "value", it's convenience. I can play any lousy course I want if all I need is somewhere to smash a ball and have swampy wet feet. We wanted to play Batteaux Creek because we heard it's a great course. Maybe it is? I'll never know because they weren't transparent enough about the condition when we booked and the price didn't reflect the conditions we played in ($180 for 2 ppl inc a cart). And, as a result, will not be returning. Fellow golfers: if you value friendly (and consistent) customer service, decent course condition (ie so that it's reasonably playable - which it wasn't), or decent quality golf carts, this is not the course for you. Thank you, Golf North, for again offering such a poor golf experience that I don't want to return to yet another of your courses.

We very much enjoyed our day here. Great course layout and staff were all very friendly and helpful! The fairways need some attention. The greens are in good shape minus the lack of people fixing their ball marks. We were the only group out on the course and finished in 3 hours. Very enjoyable afternoon.

A great layout, and the course was in great shape. The bunkers sand was hard in most traps, but the traps were still in better condition than a lot of courses I have played this year. The staff were friendly and helpful. A great day overall.
