Enjoyed a memorable lunch for a birthday celebration. Cole the sous chef was very accommodating and made the day special. The stuffed yorkies were incredible as were the crab cakes and the cheesecake was decadent! Thank you to all the staff for making my friends birthday a success.

We chose this location for a date night while in town for the weekend based on the photos, reviews and menu, having high hopes for a fun night out. We called to place a reservation a week prior, and left a message on their answering machine, but did not get a call back. I called the next night and was able to make my reservation for 2. We arrived around 5:30 on a Saturday night, I mentioned the reservation, but there seemed to be no record of it. Thankfully there was a table available, as the restaurant was next to empty at the time. The hostess apologized and was helpful, we were not bothered and mentioned these things happen, and were seated and still off to an enjoyable night. I felt like a cocktail that was not listed, and since it was dead the bartender came over to discuss, and we found something she had the ingredients for, which was delicious, and were honestly off to a great night. We ordered/split 1 appetizer (the tuna) which was yummy, and then ordered the duck spring rolls, and placed an order for our main course as well. The spring rolls came suspiciously quickly, and upon biting into one we discovered they were ice cold inside. Not just "not warm", but actually almost frozen inside. We left the other 2 spring rolls untouched and placed the one half back on the plate and just waited for our server to return. Disappointing for $17 spring rolls. When she did return to replace our cutlery we informed her that the spring rolls were inedible due to being nearly frozen, and just asked that they please be removed, both from the table and the bill. We were offered little more than, "Oh sorry". This seemed extra unfortunate since there really was no one else around at the time, so the kitchen couldn't have been that busy, and it was glaringly obvious that they were not prepared properly if you gave them the slightest touch. People began to filter in and the ambiance improved as we got out mains. They were both alright, I had the salmon which had a yummy glaze, but probably wasn't worth $33. My partner got a burger, which she said was good, but also didn't stand out. Our server never even asked if we wanted a second drink, so at the end of the meal we just asked for the bill and left. Overall the ambiance and decor were nice, and other than the frozen spring rolls the food was tasty, though a little overpriced as nothing stood out as something we had to have again. Overall it was an alright night out, just felt a little bit of a let down compared to what we had in mind. We've had things go awry at other places and still had a great time and wanted to return. We never ask for or expect anything given (Other than asking not to be charged for frozen food), but I was a little shocked that with no other tables we got such little attention, and not even asked if there was something else that could be brought out or done to help the meal. I'm sure others' experiences were positive, but this was ours.

AMAZING! We had an incredible time here tonight, drove around looking for a patio restaurant for our family and my parents to dine at! Couldn’t find anything till we headed downtown and found this GEM! The food was incredible, and our waitress was outstanding! Bonus, we asked for our cheque after finishing our meal, and after that our 7 year old asked for dessert, our waitress picking up on the fact we didn’t want him to have dessert. And without us having to say anything she said sure I can get you some β€œbroccoli cake” and our son said nope never mind haha. To the waitress we had tonight i am sorry we did not catch our name. But thank you for making our trip to Collingwood even better with this incredible meal, and amazing service! We will definitely be back, and recommend to our friends and family!

Restaurant looked really nice, staff was nice. Service was terribly slow, we were one of two parties in the restaurant at the time. Ordered gluten free meal, was assured fries were cooked separately but by the way I felt that night I can assure you they are not! Overall, food was mediocre. Menu says brunch served until 4pm but when leaving at 3:15pm another party was told no food was currently being served only drinks. 18% gratuity is automatically added to bill. No option to adjust tip based on service provided. No disclosure on menu regarding this so was very surprised!

I came in with my best friend to catch some dinner I was hoping for my food to be fresh but I asked the server about my lobster ravioli if they made it in house and they said no which I already knew once the plate came out that my ravioli was frozen and I got food poisoning from the ravioli! but other then that the dessert was delicious! The drinks were amazing! The service was sub-barb we waited 40minutes for our appetizer which was a spinach and artichoke dip!

Busier than staff could handle but the food and drinks were fantastic. It took quite a while for our drink orders to even be taken but the waitress did apologize for making us wait. Our waitress was friendly, had a great attitude and definitely contributed to a positive experience. Despite how busy the place was the food came without too long a wait after ordering. Only down side was the location of our table for two right beside the entrance with the glaring light from the entry.

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC PLACE. We were in the area for the weekend and we will be returning just to come here again. Food was fantastic but I have to shout out the service here. Our first experience with Lara was so good we came back the next day for lunch. She once again treated us with the best service. The gentleman in the kitchen shucked us some fresh oysters after we saw him on the patio and oh my gosh they were fantastic. Drinks are delicious, fresh and FANTASTIC. Also a bit shout out to the owner who clearly takes pride and treats her restaurant with love. She was outside helping the girls, seating customers and catering to a cute little pups needs (just a bowl of water and moving umbrellas to make sure he was shaded). This stood out for me the most. Thank you again prime 79 and we will be back again thanks to your amazing service and delicious food!!!
