The heating source installed my fireplace some years ago and did a fantastic job from start to finish. I still have them maintain it. I had the pleasure of Mike a extremely polite and knowledgeable young man come and clean it recently. Never a disappointment with this company. Highly recommend.

The Heating Source owners Val and Shane are amazing. The service that I received from the first call to inquire about the best gas burning fireplace for my home to the clean up after the installation was excellent...the best that I have ever had! Val worked with me in selecting the correct fireplace unit then once selected and the installation date booked, they called a day ahead to provide me with a friendly reminder. Shane and Austin were fantastic on installation day. They protected the floors and surrounding areas, they worked quickly and efficiently and left the house clean and tidy. With a fire burning merrily in the fireplace they provided patient instruction on how to operate the system. Two days later Val called to ensure that everything was working as it should! Excellent service, excellent product, thank you Val and Shane! I highly recommend The Heating Source!

I employed The Heating Source to install a wood burning stove in my home in the Allandale section of Barrie. I have a 1905 double-wall brick construction home, with a steel roof. We visited the showroom in Alliston, and were very warmly received (we had two small kids with us) by Val, who was extremely knowledgeable and generous with her time and expertise. She scheduled a site visit, which took place within a week (in February, no less), and an installation date within 3 weeks of our initial visit. While we were choosing our stove, I emailed Val several times with questions about unit size, heating needs, and hearth pads. She responded promptly in each case and gave us excellent recommendations and advice. On the day of the installation, three certified employees (not contractors!) came promptly at 9am. They protected our floors, and ensured that there was no dust while drilling through the house. They were efficient, extremely professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. They instructed us on how to use the unit, how to troubleshoot and minimize the risk of error in the operation of the wood stove. They brought a full bag of kindling and firestarter gel, and left our home in impeccable shape. We also received an emailed certification of the WETT inspection for our homeowners' insurance that was professional and detailed, including photographs of the chimney. We are so happy with our woodstove, and so happy with the professionalism of The Heating Source. When we had a minor issue with a damaged part around our ash pan, Val responded immediately and ordered the part on warranty. The benefit of working with a certified company that stands behind its work. I compared the cost of installation with The Heating Source with another reputable company. The Heating Source provided me with an estimate that broke down exactly what the costs were for each part of the installation and purchase of the unit, hearth pad, etc. This was not the case with the other company. I recommend The Heating Source without any reservation at all, and I'm so glad I chose to work with them for my wood stove installation. I attach a picture of the final installation here.

We approached three different companies when it finally came time to install air conditioning in our home. The quotes provided by The Heating Source were very detailed with the pricing broken down as requested. They took the time to answer our questions thoroughly, and all the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The installation team was very knowledgeable and professional, and exceptionally clean! The unit they recommended was not the least expensive, but has exceeded our expectations and we would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for heating or air conditioning solutions.

Shane and his crew installed a wood burning fireplace for me and I can't say enough about the level of service from Shane himself as well as his staff. I even got a follow up call to make sure all was going well. That level of service in these days is unheard of and is highly recommended.

Excellent experience dealing with The Heating Source. What can I say other than buy local and buy from The Heating Source. I had the pleasure of dealing with Shane, Val & Belinda and they always treated me like a friend rather than a customer. When we finally selected a stove and were given the install date the techs Mike and Rod arrived on time and finished when they said they would. What also impressed me is how they treated my home. No mess anywhere and maybe even a little cleaner than when they arrived LOL

I cannot say enough good things about this Company & it's employees. From Val & Belinda assisting us over the phone with our initial inquiries & pricing (which beat out many other companies by the way) to Bob completing a quick Site Visit to Austin & Jack delivering & installing the unit, they were all amazing, took excellent care of us & cared about our situation (we required a quick turn around time for a basement renovation).
