I did not go here. Tried to find it through Google maps and it said it got me there but there wasn't a Rona there. Maybe and old location I'm not sure

WOW BUYER BEWARE! I'd give them a 0 star if I could..... Spoke to the kitchen dept In late July about getting new countertops. Received a quote for new countertops,Β  install and taxes included. We were so happy with the friendliness and knowledge of the lady there. Couldn't believe how awesome the customer service was. We decided to order but first wanted someone to come in and verify measurements. We paid $100.00 plus tax for someone to do that which, we gladly paid because we didnt want to take a chance on our own measurements being incorrect.Β  At that time he took the measurements and also wrote down that we wanted no back splash, installed with a cut out for the sink and the color name. I then went to Rona a few days later on August 3rd and paid upfront for our order because it was a custom order. At that time the lady in the kitchen dept asked me to sign the peice of paper agreeing to the details that the "measurement guy" had written down. Which I was given a copy of. Still no big deal thinking that we were getting great customer service. Knowing that because of "covid times" that it may take a little longer and we were totally OK with that. On Sept 25th, I received a call telling me that my counter top was ready for pick up at which time I told lady lady that we paid for install so assumed that would include delivery as well. She said someone would get back to me with an install time. 6 days later another Rona associate called to inform me that she had no record of me paying for the install and that it would be another $1100 that would need to be paid in full before they can book anything.Β  I went to speak to the lady whom I placed my order with and she said that even though I signed the paperwork agreeing to the terms stated on it that install was now not included and there must have been a mix up. I am so frustrated I could cry and refuse to give them another $1100 over what I already paid when the paperwork clearly states that install and sink cut out to be included. I will pick up the countertops and install them ourselves but I just want people to be aware that you can clearly be scammed even when you think you have yourself covered.

Rona is great I walked I did not have to go looking for anybody a staff member came walking and before I had a chance to ask for help he wished me a happy new year and could help me a very knowledgeable staff member thank you RONA. Ron
