★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very disappointed. My husbands very expensive burger was over cooked, dry and tasteless. The fries were over cooked and looked like they came from the bottom of a McCain’s bag. They had no prawns, service was very slow and our friend had to finally go to the bar to order more drinks. Plenty of staff around and not overly busy so no reason for this. Won’t be going back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We tried oysters here for the first time, the server was super kind and helped us out with everything! We also ordered a calamari which was fresh but a little overcooked. I had a old fashioned and it was one of the better ones I have had in a while! We will be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was delicious! However, I find it difficult to justify 3 wing sized pieces of breaded chicken for almost $20 (no side dishes... just 3 small pieces and a sauce). Most of their dishes are what they call "shareable" but it's hard to determine that by looking at the menu. The location is excellent. If you have auditory sensitivities, maybe try the dinning room, the bar side seemed excessively loud and that was with the hockey game on mute.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is great. The portions weren't big considering the price, but I am a 6'6" male so I typically eat more than the average person. The local beers were good and the food was great but nothing tops the baby carrot dish. SO GOOD. I went here with 1 other person, I ordered the tuna, they ordered the carrots and they were so good that we split another order of the carrot dish after (the tuna was great too). We almost ordered a 3rd order of it to go because it was THAT GOOD but instead we got the squash pizza and that was delicious as well! Also the winter squash dish is really good. Stop reading this review, just go there already, this place rocks!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very poor menu selection - reason for 3 stars. Nice service. Come here for the views and a quick drink in a hot day. Pizzas are just ok - nothing creative of anything to satisfy a meat-lower. Salads are mediocre. Crab photos online are of the "bring your own catch" crabs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I loved this restaurant. Showed up late on a Wednesday night around 930pm. The kitchen was just about to close but the staff kept it open just a little a later for myself and my gf. We ordered the Prosciutto pizza, roasted cauliflower and bruschettea. All were absolutely fantastic. We also had the turtle roll cocktails that were by far my favorite drinks in Tofino. But the best part was Jenna!! Her energy was contagious. Loved her she was the highlight of that dinner. Thanks Jenna hope to be back soon!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food at the Hatch was fantastic. The menu selection could use work. There isn’t much to choose if you just want a nibble with drinks. The service was attentive but a bit snarly at first but she warmed up as time passed. The view of the marina is great. I would go again for sure.
