I would highly recommend eating here! Had an amazing meal at this restaurant; the smoked salmon clam chowder was amazing. The key lime pie was out of this world. We ordered it to go, but after trying a taste ate half the pie. The server was super friendly!

Great food & ambience in Tofino. We also found it reasonably priced given the area. Tried quite a few dishes: fish tacos, soba salad with tofu, chowder and corn bread, the daily halibut ceviche special and key lime pie. There were a couple minor mix ups but they were quickly fixed. We got there around noon on a Friday and got a table, but by 1 there seemed to be quite a wait.

Loved our SOBO lunch, super yummy and special, it felt very West Coast. I went to SOBO when it was a food truck probably about 15 years ago… it was nice to see it still exists and has changed form! The Tofu Pocket with salmon tasted super fresh. The raw oysters (on special, yay!) were delicious as well. The Fried Oysters were huge and had a great dipping sauce, and the Miso Slathered Broiled Oyster was our favourite dish (we ordered a second!). Friendly staff and nice ambiance as well. Highly recommend and we will return!

Good food. Great tasting. Portions are very generous so if you’re light eater - share with your family/friends.

Salmon chowder was great with lots of chunks of salmon and big portion. Thai chicken with the salad and the bread was a home run. Mussel is just ok. Palenta fries was average.

Excellent food! Everything seems to be made from scratch - from the falafels to the wraps to the seafood chowder. And they serve real whipped cream on the tasty key lime pie. Fish tacos were some of the best I’ve ever had. Will definitely come back to this family owned place that’s putting so much love into their food!

A great place for lunch or dinner! We had the Manila clams x 2 and the margherita pizza with a starter of polenta fries. All was delicious. Know that the polenta fries are quite filling so one per person is lots (if also eating mains) tho it seems like it wouldn’t be. Our clams had a bit of sand in them but that happens. The bread with them was excellent with salt flakes on top. Perfect for dipping in the clam broth. We finished up with a slice of key lime pie which is not to be missed!
