I've known Chris personally for many years and reached out to him when my wife and I started looking for a new home. He and Tammy were extremely accommodating and after a year or so of looking we finally found the deal we were looking for. Chris was always honest when looking at properties telling his opinion when asked and catching positive and negative aspects that we didn't see. If you have really need a team of realtors, I suggest that you can give them a call and give the chance to talk to you and provide their option and their point of view. I truly recommend them. My partner and I absolutely recommend The Good Agent! As first time buyers we didn’t know what to expect, but knew what we didn’t want – someone who’d push us to spend more than we wanted to, pressure us into a decision we weren’t ready for, or make us feel like we weren’t getting an honest assessment of houses we were looking at. Honesty is something Tammy and Chris don’t shy away from, not hesitating to call the bizarre buildings you put on your to-view list “a nightmare” or “a terrible life decision.” At the same time, they honour your instincts and emotions. We saw houses that perfectly fit the bill that we hated for no reason, and they never once made us feel awkward about saying so. As for approach, they will happily take you all over town to look at a dozen or more houses all in one go, doing this several times, so that you can get a real sense of what type of home you want and what a fair price for that home should be. Chris will also happily point out every wall in every house that could be knocked down, happily offering to come over with a sledgehammer if you want to "open up that kitchen." Chris is also knowledgeable about the various issues such as dangerously outdated wiring, which helps you save time and money, so you don't have to pay to hear this from a home inspector later down the line. Tammy has superior instincts for knowing how to identify the right home for you and a no-nonsense attitude when it comes to pricing and negotiating. In fact, she found us our beautiful home, which we bought at a price we feel 100% confident was appropriate. Working with Tammy and Chris was an absolute delight – not only are they knowledgeable and supportive, they’re downright hilarious, making the whole process an absolute joy. They can also recommend qualified, reliable, and reputable insurance brokers, home inspectors, and lawyers, to make those aspects of the process easier as well.
