D	Danielle L on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered the beef dip and it was mediocre at best. The sandwich was mostly bread (little meat) and the flavour was…gross. The au jus tasted like nothing more than beef water and the fries were like deep fried cardboard. I actually threw out my meal. On another non-food related note, no one was wearing masks (including staff) and the restaurant was absolutely packed (this was prior to removing all the mandates). And the parking lot is dinky tiny, so be prepared to wait for parking or walk from the next lot over. Perhaps my experience was out of the norm, and I certainly hope so - but if not I’d avoid this place as it’s just not worth the money.

It got really busy around 6pm and felt like we were getting rushed out. There was a line up out the door to get in. And I don't believe Covid regulations were being strictly followed with regards to distancing and capacity. The place was absolutely packed. Obviously it is a popular place. Overall for the most part I enjoyed it. March 23rd... I was at the George last Saturday again. I wanted to update my review from a few months ago ( above) I ordered fish and chips this time. It was delicious. The best fish I have had in years. If it wasn't for the fact that an additional piece of fish was a $7.00 add on i would have gotten two pieces. Fries were good but not very many of them. Service was good and all three of us received awesome food. The steak sandwich and the prime rib burger were great too. In my opinion excellent food.

It comes smothered in gravy, which by the way is so very and delicious. I chose mashed potatoes and a side of gravy for that and the potatoes were so good, not too mushy but not too chunky. Unfortunately, I couldn't have the veggies, as it included broccoli. Allergy related. Would definitely go back for more whenever possible.
T	Tania Larko on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came from Calgary and wasn't expecting much as far as pub food BUT WOW! The food here is excellent, fresh and great portions! The burgers are hand made! The prices are incredible and the staff is very friendly. Definitely recommend.
r	ray ridders on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ traditional dark pub atmosphere. Decent service, Good place to chill for afternoon beers with friends. Food is average with the exception of the ridiculously giant, delicious mozzarella sticks. Live music on Saturdays. Worth a visit if your in the area.
