The Empowered Vegan was so highly recommended by others, which is important to me. From the beginning, Jack and his team were awesome to work with. We had a zoom meeting to talk about our vision, and this being our first time having any involvement in wedding planning, we had lots of questions. Jack was awesome at helping us decide on how much food we needed, and gave us guidance on how our menu would work together. He also helped us find our rental company, and made sure we had enough quantity of everything for our guest #s. His communication was excellent--we always felt confident that everything would be perfect on his end. Our tasting dishes were phenomenal, and Chef Casey was awesome with his communication as well. The day of our wedding could not be more perfect with our catering--they did an awesome job of making sure everything was refilled, and the way they organized the food tables was awesome. The cheese board....wow, they were beautiful! Honestly, I would recommend The Empowered Vegan to anyone, vegan/nonvegan. We 100% need teams like this to help show the world how amazing vegan food can be. I can confidently say everyone loved the food, and the quality was top-notch. I give them a 15/10, 5 stars is not enough.

Having an all vegan wedding was so important to us as a long time vegan couple and it was hard finding a caterer that could execute that properly. As the only vegans at the wedding it was so important that our non-vegan guests were impressed with the food and left full. Our expectations were exceeded and all night people were raving about the food! One guest even said that this was the first wedding food they'd ever eaten that they'd order at a restaurant if it was available! The entire team were great to work with from the get go and the dinner portion ran so smoothly. Cannot recommend them enough, if you want a vegan wedding book this amazing caterer!

Their meals have great portions, and delivery is always on time. My favourite snack is their vegan mixed berry muffin! Thanks, Jack! Glad I found you guys!

Being vegans ourselves we had a unique opportunity to share how delicious food can be with our closest friends and family, and the Empowered Vegan did not disappoint. From the jackfruit sliders, to the mushroom Wellington, to the cheesecake, to the poutine, everything was delicious! All the food was recognizable and comforting, and half the guests didn't believe it was all vegan! Chef Casey and all his staff were so kind, caring, helpful, funny and palpably happy to be there. They were endlessly accommodating, delivering gluten free options directly to guests, making sure my husband and I actually had a chance to eat, and packing up extra desserts for us when we were too full to enjoy them! Planning was made easy by Jack, who coordinated everything. He was very easy to get in touch with and very accommodating with any questions and requests! If you're looking for incredible food that even the devoutest meat-eater will try and love, then look no further!
H	Hadleigh Keesee on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We first met Chef Jack at one of his vegan workshops at Goodness Me!. Which, I highly recommend trying out one of his workshops! We had a splendid time learning more about vegan cheese, which beforehand we were very skeptical of! We discovered that vegan cheese doesn’t have to be a scary, overly processed, monster hiding in your fridge, that it can actually be very tasty, all thanks to Chef Jack! We decided to hire Chef Jack and his business partner Casey to cater a private dinner, for my boyfriend and myself, and it was an amazing experience. Due to (many) dietary restrictions, we were half expecting them to give us pasta and a garden salad, because we had no idea what to expect. But, to our amazement, each plate they brought to us beautifully crafted and created a dance party on our taste buds! They are so knowledgeable and very keen to adapt to any dietary needs you may have, and as someone who has many, that feels amazing! I highly recommend hiring these guys to cater or even to take a class with! We look forward to having dinners with these guys in the future. We are very grateful!

We worked with Jack to get a menu sorted, and he went above and beyond for us - giving suggestions, taking care of our rentals and other needs, and working within our budget, all in such a timely and friendly manner. Chef Casey worked with us on our wedding day, and was friendly, professional, and so accommodating. We didn’t have to worry about a thing! And finally, the food - it was spectacular! Our guests enjoyed every dish (even the meat eaters), and it was the talk of the night. We could not be more happy with how everything turned out, and we would absolutely recommend The Empowered Vegan to everyone! Thank you for helping make our wedding day so special!

I loved that they could make every item on the menu gluten-free. Every element of the meal was delicious, the standout being the stuffed butternut squash!! My only regret is not ordering 2 portions so that I could enjoy leftovers the next day :P I will definitely be ordering again!

Our friends and family who are not vegan could not stop talking about how delicious the food was. My mom who spoke directly Jack, said he was extremely accommodating, kind and responsive. We had a nut allergy and they were able to make everything nut free even the vegan charcuterie (they did it all from seeds!!) - which was the BEST vegan charcuterie I've ever had (still thinking about it to this day)!!!! Can not thank the team at empowered vegan enough!
