Avoid getting in touch with front desk it must be the worst one. We waited around 6 months to get examination appointment .They cancelled my kid's dates for 3 times for more urgent patients(according to them). As if my kid's late diagnose and delayed treatment is not important. I was sick of their quality of service manners. So I forwarded my referral to somewhere else. If you have an appointment from this clinic be prepared it may be cancelled unlimited times, who cares! I hope they get the same situation and suffer as we do then understand us. Consider different locations. If it is life treatining , cancellations must be last second not months or weeks before! Very poor management. In order to reach the service we have to die.

My family doctor referred me to dr Ho. It took me almost a year or an appointment. When I went to the clinic, his intern saw me did some basic checking. He recommended hearing aids. Let me say the main doctor, dr Ho saw me for about five minutes. That’s all. He then sent me to the next room to remove wax. Waiting for one your and you get seen by the specialist for FIVE MINUTES. This was about two to four years ago.

Waited for 3 months just to get my appointment and possibly testing and/or procedure dropped for no reason and the incompetent office failed to call me back, my general physician had to call me saying that. Pathetic! Main reason why I give up on socialized medicine in Canada, the system is failing! I will be going to the US to receive proper treatment instead. I hope you all read this review and find an actual reputable ENT specialist for your health needs.

Nearly 3 year wait just to be turned away. They will NEVER contact you. I was told by my doctor it would be a year and 4 month wait to get in so I wait and wait and don’t hear anything but then when you call them they can get you in no problem. At my consultation I was told I probably have eustachian tube dysfunction which is what my doctor said I have and also from what I’ve read online I though so too. So I wait another year after my consultation nobody contacts me so I call and they want to bring me In for a hearing test even though I told them I had already had one done and provided them with that test result ..they want to do one anyways so okay I go in and do it. It comes back fine no hearing loss. They tell me the doctor will review my file and see if he will take me as a patient so again I wait and wait... I finally decided to email them and I get an email back that the doctor will not take me as a patient because I don’t have hearing loss!? Okay so when we’re you planning on telling me?! And are you kidding me... I’ve been waiting almost 3 years for an appointment with the doctor just to be turned away. If a ear specialist can’t help me with my ear issues who can?! Cause my doctor can’t...they sent me there for a reason. So unless you have hearing loss don’t even bother with this place.

Dr. Ho and the staff at The Ear Clinic have been amazing. I was referred to Dr. Ho when I had a sudden hearing loss. Everyone has been so kind and helpful, willing to answer all my questions. Dr. Ho took my concerns seriously and sent me for a CT and MRI scan. He carefully walked me through my diagnosis and next steps. He gave me all the facts while being empathetic. I'm thankful to Dr. Ho, Linh, Kara and everyone at the Ear Clinic for their professionalism and kindness they have shown.

Well I was looking for an ear doctor and this ones a hard pass. They require 4 days notice for a cancellation and charged $100. 24 hours cancellation notice is plenty given if I’ve ever cancelled it’s due to a last minute thing that came up.

Dr Meen would not let me go in with my husband for his examination because I do not have my C vax. They do not want any unvaxxed in their clinic which is unfortunate. Good to know a doctor has no problems with being discriminatory. When I asked the receptionist who manages that office she said her and Dr Meen do so they make the rules. When I said "it's good to know a doctor is okay with being discriminatory" she said "we're not discriminating against our patients, just the family." So she admitted it herself.

I received a call from Dr. Ho’s office in response to a call I made to them to get my ears cleaned. When I initially called for an appointment (Feb 7) the receptionist indicated that -yes I was on the list to get regular cleaning, however due to the Covid situation cleanings were not being done. She did however indicate that they will be calling when they will be done again. I received a call today (Feb 10) stating that I now needed a referral to get in to see dr Ho??? Reason- last visit was in 2020 and dr Ho needs a referral to do this. He (Dr Ho) did my ear operation, provided my hearing aids, did my hearing tests etc. He advised that he would put onto my file that future referrals would not be needed to come back to see him. My last visit to see my hearing aid specialist was mid 2021. Granted I didn’t see dr Ho, however did see and was attended to by his clinic and staff. The receptionist when speaking to me indicated that this was a college of physicians need and not his?? I asked her to speak to him again. She refused. I asked her to have dr Ho call me. She refused. After I told her of the her terrible service and indicated I wud write a review she then said -ok I will have him call myself But… she added she could see him calling me and gave me the impression that she didn’t care. I cannot believe that after seeing dr Ho for at least 10-12 yrs I have to go thru a referral process again?!! (I only had to do this twice already, so what’s another time right?). I understand he is a busy person and there are not many with his skills, however I guess the medical system and staff ops to point fingers at something else in the β€œsystem β€œ as the reason they can’t provide customer service. Instead of stepping up to the plate and doing what they are required by oath to do they prefer to make life more tedious and add in layers of difficulty. Amazing!!! Be curious to see the response from the β€œowner”.
