Our experience at the Cobbler was almost wonderful. Going well till a woman in my group asked to use their bathroom. Fyi - they don't allow customers to use their bathroom. The clerk directed her to the "nearest public bathroom, down the block, go into this mall, down that way and ....". ARE YOU KIDDING Me? Between the three of us we bought several hundred $$$ worth of shoes. (not hard to do that bytheway). I told the clerk that I thought my friend having to leave the store to use the bathroom was horrible. She told me it was management policy and she was not allowed to extend that basic human service to paying customers. In the end, I am sorry I completed my transactions. I am sorry my friend came back and purchased the pair of shoes she had to set aside before she had to leave the store to find a bathroom. I expect I will visit Victoria again. There were many places I didn't get a chance to check out while we were there. But I will NOT be going back to THE COBBLER, because any business that cannot extend that simple courtesy - especially to paying customers, does not deserve my future business. And I certainly would NOT recommend THE COBBLER to anyone for their short sighted, insulting policy against personal customer care. I am still shaking my head over it. Poor form Cobbler management. The epitome of the worst in customer service. You lost me as a future customer, and anyone I can influence.

Went today to shop for 3-4 new pairs of shoes. I was immediately told by a very snippy millennial clerk that masks are mandatory. I advised her I am exempt and she said it didn't matter. Her tone was rude and dismissive and this behavior borders on a human rights issue. As of this date by Provincial health Officer masks are recommended and not mandated. I left and went down the street to a a competitors business with a more friendly environment and dropped almost $1500. Businesses should not be so quick to shun the consumer spending power. Rudeness is intolerant on any occasion.

I wanted to purchase some blundstones, so I had originally went to softmoc because I also had to visit both malls that day went to both softmocs and I received no help from anyone at both locations. I ended up going to Cobblers instead, your staff were so great, knowledgeable and so helpful, I ended up getting all of my questions answered along with a lovely short conversation with the sales person. I also walked out with my new favorite blundstones. Thank you for the exceptional customer service next time I won't waste my time and head straight to your store.

I wanted to add to my 5 Star rating for The Cobbler. I was on the Hunt for Blundstones, went to various other stores first but was very glad I waited to purchase from The Cobbler. Talk about excellent customer service, and creating a very welcoming environment. I can see myself adding this store to one of my favourites largely due to the staff and their professionalism. Oh yeah there is also one of the best selections in town.....

Had a nice time today, bought some Blumstones. The lady with the brown curly hair and the blonde lady were very nice and patient. :).

This shop has some great shoes BUT...I recently bought a pair of green Dr. Marten boots only to find they were defective. (Dr. Marten agreed that they were defective) I expected a replacement pair but I was given a store credit instead. The cobbler won't give your money back. Even if the product they sold was factory defective. I understand getting a store credit if I simply changed my mind, but a factory defect? I should have gotten my money back. I was sold defective boots AND they kept my money!!!!

Great service, excellent selection and high level of footwear knowledge. I usually am more of a sneaker, trainer or basketball shoe person but I needed some more formal shoes. I was given a few options with no pressure. Ended up leaving happy with a new pair on my feet! As a bonus they have a large selection of sale shoes too
