An Edmonton boys' dream turned reality. Roger Newton purchased an old pool hall in the west end of Edmonton, with a clear vision of what was missing from the city of champions. There were Irish Bars, English Pubs, and even Belgian Cafes, but there was nothing that truly honoured the rich heritage of Canada. Combine that with his love of Sports, Roger opened the first ever Canadiana Sports Bar in West Edmonton, The Canadian Brewhouse. This location has since closed, but it was the start of a service industry giant.

β β β β β Its a sports bar. Has great variety of drinks and food menu. But food was ok. Could be better. But great place if you have a group and looking to cherish sports as they have big screens.
Staff was good. But service could have been better as we had to wait for 10 minutes just to get our cutlery and that means food got cold.

β β β β β Went to try the taco specials. Do not waste your time or energy. The chicken was incredibly salty, the beef was cold and tasted like very old beef that was not strained of the blood. The drinks were small and very costly. 16oz Stella for $11+.
Besides the food being gross and the drinks being way over priced, the service was amazing.

β β β β β We, Hana Nails and Spa team, came to this location to celebrate the award we received last week. With such a big group, but Amy gave us excellent service, she went above and beyond. The food was absolutely amazing! Highly recommended!

β β β β β Our server Amy was very friendly and made us feel welcome as soon as we got seated. She also accommodated our every request, which we appreciate greatly.
Also, I could literally douse their steak sauce on every menu item. Unreal!

β β β β β Started off good, we came in on May long weekend and got a table right away which we were surprised by. We saw the offer to download the brew house app to receive a free garlic fingers so we did that. The food and drinks were good, the mac and cheese that you pay an extra 2.99 for was definitely not worth it. There was no flavour at all but aside from that all was well until payment. We were actively paying and as we were doing so we realized the garlic fingers were not taken off the bill. The payment completed so we had asked for either a refund on the garlic bread or a gift card for the difference. The waitress goes off and we watch her as sheβs looking for a manager, from what we could tell she didnβt actually speak to anyone, she just came back to the table and said βhe said no we canβt do any of that, sorry that was totally my fault but you can just bring in the bill next time and just let us know we didnβt take this off and we will do something next timeβ ?????? If you can do something next time why can it not be sorted out right now. Iβm a little disappointed as we tipped her very well and felt we got short serviced at the end

β β β β β I was in the Bar today and i have never seen the unprofessional response from the server and manager. They were looking awkwardly at me. Server had no talk to sense. Worst experience i had here. I ordered the garlic finger and they didnβt have it so they asked me replacement for it and i said yes. Then I thought they send me the replacement by their choice/policy and I started eating it. Then manager came to me and took away the half eaten food. Really amazed by this service really unpredictable and worst service.

β β β β β Ok, Xenia. She is very likely the best server weβve ever had! She was HAPPY - which makes me feel happy!! She was helpful but not hovering. She made us feel like valuable customers! I might just get her shifts and come back when sheβs working! Oh β¦ and the food was super good too! ?
