Summertime review. Great hotel. We stayed at an owned unit (Airbnb/VRBO type). The unit was clean though not really updated. Grounds were kept really nice and the pool was managed really well, especially considering pandemic conditions. Only comment is it's up the mountain a bit, so if you have small kids or a stroller, you might find it difficult getting up here. There's lots of parking though, which is nice not having to circle around for spots.

Poorly managed apartment We booked this apartment through Expedia. Issues were appearing by itself, the moment we entered into the building. Parking was costly still very tiny space to park an SUV. We were able to enter the room first time by using the pad key digits assigned to us. But just after 1 hour we need some stuff from downstairs and my husband went out to grab that, he was unable to open the door from outside even after he tried a lot to use that pad key password digits to enter the room again.Luckily we were inside the room and we opened the door from inside. After that that lock never opened for us. We had to stay outside till 11.30pm without having dinner with our 3 &6 years old kids. That was just a mental harrassment. We tried different numbers they were just refering us another number and so on. And nobody was taking responsibility to open the door for us. They provided us 3 different digit Keys but nothing worked then the property manager had to show up and could open the door. For us with her master key. 2 me AC was just in one bedroom and it was 42degree temperature outside. Almost boiling hot. The furniture was so filthy and dirty. We called front desk but they said nobody will come to clean due to covid. Such a horrible experience. Never buy through this management. Finally we had to finish our trip in between

Pros: Well-managed common areas Professional and courteous staff Clean pool and three large hot tubs. Towels available at the reception. Barely a 3-minute walk via the back gate to the gondolas and ski lifts, and to the Village where there are lovely eateries and shops. Secured underground parking at $17/day (when we stayed there, Aug 2021) Cons Not all rental condos are equal. They are managed by various owners and management companies. So not all are impeccably maintained despite the high rental rates. Ours had - a shabby unclean patio, broken patio door bug screen that kept derailing and falling off - Limited, inadequate cookware. - A broken over-the-range microwave oven and range hood. A separate countertop microwave was provided but there was no fan to draw away cooking fumes and smells.

We were woken up early one morning by two guys standing on our balcony sweeping leaves. Was very uncomfortable and a complete invasion of our privacy. Very strict rules and not very relaxing. You have to take your own bins out which I find a bit strange.

We stayed here for 2 days and we had one of the best experience here. Room was ok with minimal views but was enjoyable with quick services. Their pool was one of the best facilities in this hotel …quite neat and clean with adequate temperature. I would recommend this anytime.

My family and I stayed in the 404 room this August. The hotel is perfectly positioned on the slopes next to Blackcomb gondola and it's true ski in/out. We'll definitely consider it for the upcoming winter season. The staying was generally pleasant as in most 3* hotels, but the unit has some issues (not a deal breaker though): - The dishwasher needs a maintenance because it's too loud and can't be used at night. The noise is unbearable. - The king bed is super squeaky. Even a slightest movement is so noisy and would wake me up immediately. - Missing basic condiment, like salt The parking is additionally charged (17 CAD/day) as well as extra room service (cleaning etc). The hotel is also very close to the Lost lake trails. Overall, nicely positioned and pleasant for staying.

The rooms are nice clean and cosy. We had a room facing the pool and ski slopes. The natural lightning from outside was great. The room was equipped well with crockery, cutlery and cooking items required for a short stay. There was a a double bed in the main room and a pull out couch in the living room. Being just a short walk away from the Upper Village it is accessible to shops and restaurants. The pool and hot tubs were clean and well maintained. The small balcony was a cosy place to sit and enjoy the view and chill out.

Our stay (booked through Vrbo) at The Aspens was great! It was a very nice property, close to food and drinks in the Upper Village, and just a short walk to the Main Village. The problem came when we asked to check out a night early in front of a snow storm that predicted 25 to 50cm over 24 hours and no offer of a refund or credit was provided. I think they just wanted us to extend our stay and pay them for probably another three or four nights. We ended up leaving anyway, out $400, and they ended up getting 40cm of snow overnight, which lead the road out of to become pretty hard to drive on. A great place to stay, just be careful about booking during the winter months.
