★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I absolutely love The Apartment. I highly recommend anyone interested in all things vintage to go visit in store or online and follow on social media. I have gotten many things from there, one being a sectional and I absolutely LOVE it, everything I expected and more. Perfect vintage quality. Even though Fiona did offer to re-upholstery if I wanted, such is also so amazing. But I think the pieces are perfect the way they are. Thank you The Apartment for making me smile, your amazing at what you do.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great women-owned small business to support. The aesthetic of the shop is out of this world. You can tell that the owner Fiona puts so much into the business. My experience purchasing items is limited, as I’m more of a window shopper/admirer from afar, but I had a great experience with the 1 order I did place. I purchased a few cute pink candles and a brass swan planter. Website is easy to order from. Items are as described and as pictured. I opted for local delivery, opposed to curb side pickup and my order arrived within 3 weeks of purchase date. Very happy with my purchase!
The Apartment also houses a community fridge just outside the shop, which is such a great initiative.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What an incredibly fun and vibrant store! The selection curated by the lovely store owner Fiona is always amazing. The owner and staff are lovely and are always able to help with what you need. I’ve picked up a couple of items from this store and will definitely be back to get some new additions for my home.
The instagram account is expertly run and really allows you to get a feel of the pieces available. This shop is definitely one of the best in Toronto!

I’ve purchased a few vintage furniture items here for my condo & it’s also a great spot for unique gifts (cocktail glasses, vases etc.). Fiona the owner is knowledgeable about furniture and design and my experience with her has proved why it is worth supporting businesses where the owner truly loves what she does & is knowledgeable about vintage pieces. Photos of new items and the store are posted on their Instagram account @theapartmentlife but my favourite way to shop is in store where you can find items that aren’t online and see the beautiful collection in person. Bigger items can be delivered (or shipped). If you live in Toronto and are looking to add vintage pieces to your space, add this to the top of your list of places to visit!
