J	Jada Fraser-Barry on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The kitchen, fridge and Ice machine are disgusting. Proper sanitation is not done. The ice machine has black discharge in it. The staff from the cafe and the bar use up all the parking so the only 11 spots they have for 40 rooms you also end up paying for your parking. Our shower in our room was a death trap. Super unlevel and unsafe. Not sure how this hotel has such great ratings. The gym is basically non existent. Also there is no elevator so it was very hard for my spouse to get to our room. For the price I would say it’s not worth it.

Only draw back was the train blowing his horn at 5 in the morning but pretty sure you could hear that from anywhere in town.

Although we initially chose The Adventure hotel for its lower price compared to other downtown Nelson hotels we ended up being very pleasantly surprised by the comfort and charm of the place! The lobby staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms (though small) were very clean and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the exposed brick wall with a window view of the lake and the rainfall shower in the bathroom. The hotel overall has a very European feel residing in a heritage building in the heart of downtown. The hotel is also connected to a sports bar with very friendly staff, a solid beer selection, and a pool table (as a bit of a germaphobe and with covid still a concern I especially appreciated the bars sanitation of all the pool equipment between uses) The only downside is the very limited parking available. This was all three of our groups first time in Nelson and when we come back again it will definitely be to this hotel!

S	Sean Barton on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Comfortable, plenty of device power options and solid WiFi. Shared showers should be more common in the travel industry (I didn't use during my brief stay) and the 2nd-floor shared kitchen had complimentary hot coffee available by 6AM.
M	Maria Chen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff were very helpful and friendly! The room and the hotel in general were very clean. The staff was also very helpful with parking. We come to Nelson to ski as often as possible and this was our most pleasant stay.The food was excellent everywhere!

Had to park a few blocks away and haul all our gear up as we didn't want to leave it in our vehicle on the street all night. We were pretty burnt out from road tripping. Just wanted to relax for the evening. Tv doesn't work. They said there was nothing they could do. Best of all, the door between our room and our neighbors provided about as much privacy as a sheet. Could hear them and their child perfectly. And their snoring all night. For$150 a night plus tax, for nothing better than a hostel dorm room experience..... pathetic
R	Rebecca Moore on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super clean, friendly and very charming place with beautiful views! Air conditioning in the unit with a comfy bed and updated bathroom. Plenty of parking in the back with a bar and steakhouse attached to the hotel. Well worth staying here!
