Not the worst hotel in the world. Awkward design, stairs leading into our room. The location was good, 2 shopping centres nearby and a very nice, easy lake shore walk. A bit pricey for what we got, no breakfast included. May look for a different place next time.

Friendly and helpful staff. But, this is a wood frame structure, so the quality of your experience hinges on the BMI of the guests above you and their concern for others. Statscan reports that 42% of British Columbians are overweight or obese, and during the pandemic we learned that many Canadians don't care about others, so the odds are high that you'll have an overweight heel-walker pounding around above you. 9 Mbps download speeds.

Just want to give a shout out to Alyssa and Kira for their help and guidance during my check in May 25th. Patient, kind, and considerate! Very comfortable and quiet hotel. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

My stay was awesome, the place is clean and quiet and really affordable, my only complaint is that the beds are so comfortable it's hard to get out of bed...you just want to stay there. I see some comments complaining about the train, what? a little short " choo choo" upsets you? I swear even the train conductors make sure not to lean on it when they pass by the place. The staff is awesome and I will go back every time I get a chance...thank you Happy and all the other friendly staff.

Super clean and cute room, close to downtown! Only reason for three stars is it is very noisy right beside the train and there isn't much sound proofing. Would probably stay again just you have to get used to the noise

The hotel is currently under renovation - June 2022. Upon arrival I was informed I would not be able to use my balcony. Came out of the bathroom in the morning to find a worker on the balcony - didn’t appreciate the intrusion or feel very safe. Tried to offer a discount but couldn’t because I used a booking site. Verify renovations are complete before booking!

I would highly recommend this beautiful newly renovated boutique hotel. Our King Bed was very comfortable. Incredible view of Mountain out our sliding doors and balcony facing the waterfront. Most important was the staff, especially Happy who made our stay! Derek

Stayed here recently over the May Long weekend and wasn’t disappointed. The room had everything we needed, a really nice TV and a really nice view! You’re able to use the pool/hot tub/gym amenities at the other property down the road, which was a big plus. For the value, (about a $30 difference per night) I’d rather stay at the other property, but our only downside here was our cutlery was not clean when we went to use it, and the kitchen isn’t super well equipped, but if you’re on vacation you probably won’t care like we did.
