D	Dave Sheard on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time i ever stayed here yet I have visited family in this area for 29 years. Very pleasant staff at the front desk and restaurant but covid still means it is quiet. The room was very clean and well appointed. I would stay here again.

Our absolutely only thing was the hotel food was mediocre, we suggest heading out to enjoy some good food in Nelson!

The only negative aspect I'll mention was the construction crew that started their loud equipment at 7:50am right outside our window. Was looking forward to sleeping in but that made it impossible. Hopefully they finish soon so no one else has to suffer.

We chose Prestige Lakeside because we had our dog with us and they are pet friendly. They were super accommodating. We found the front desk staff very pleasant and the check in process was carried out efficiently. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The food from the restaurant was good. We ordered room service as we had our dog and couldn't go out to dinner and couldn't leave him in the car as it was too warm out and we couldn't leave him in the room. Oh and they have amazing coffee in the rooms Kootenay Coffee Co. is a delicious way to start your morning.

A very well run hotel and the ground floor rooms that go out on to the lawn bordering the lake are particularly attractive. A small point....the floor around the indoor pool area is super slippery. The outside dining is faultless.
J	Jason Rogers on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is absolutely the best hotel experience I've EVER had. I booked a designer suite and it was brilliant. The view from the balcony was amazing. There was a jetted tub. There were 2 complimentary local beers in the fridge when I arrived. The bed is super comfy. The front desk staff recommended kayaking. The rental place was a one minute walk away. I had a wonderful time on the water of this beautiful lake. HIGHLY recommend a meal at Marzano. FABULOUS.
B	Blayne D on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Low 4 rating. Had I received a better room this would have be a high 4 or possibly 5. I will say that for the price I paid I do understand the room quality. The room did not have black out curtains and was extremely bright at night. The fan in the bathroom did not work and the lack of sound proofing from the room above us was minimal. The stay was uncomfortable for these reasons and I debated giving it a 3. The pros were the location is fantastic. Such a beautiful back drop. The gym was very good, especially as gym hotels go. But really it is the location of this hotel that really saved it for me.

The pool and hot tub were nice and robes were provided. Had an excellent breakfast at the motel restaurant. We would definitely stay again.
