★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Although the food is awesome , the service is very disappointing. I stayed at the hotel and tried to order as room service, but unfortunately, after 20 minutes attempting to dial their phone number, nobody picked up. I had to go at the door myself, and the lady told me you must dine in and then take your food in a box if you want to use the hotel voucher! (March 31)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dani at Port 701 is absolutely incredible at her job and was truly accommodating. She stayed open an hour past close because we had a business meeting and needed more time. You don’t find service like that very often anymore and if you make a trip to Nelson, BC, stay at the Prestige Hotel on the lake and ask For Dani at their Hotel restaurant and bar. Thanks Dani!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For being in a hotel the prices are very reasonable. Nice view of the lake and the food is your standard menu. We've been a few times for both lunch and dinner and have enjoyed it each time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really disappointed with the 2 meals we had from 701 in Prestige Lakeside. Staying in the hotel we ordered to go. First club sandwich looked great bust tasted horrible, black avocado and brushed tomatoes. Breakfast Bennie with toasted prosciutto with hashbrowns sounds great, absolutley horrible food horrible value.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had dinner here with some friends a couple weekends ago and it was lovely. The views were great. The service was excellent. Our meals were delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our time.
