D	DANNY ESCOBAR on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tequila Cocina Lonsdale - I had such high hopes. Based off of their Instagram page it looked very promising. Great location, great decor & and the food looked pretty authentic. However it was not the case. The service was horrendous. It took 20 minutes for the server to even take our order. We had finished eating around 9:30 and we didn’t get our bill until 10:15. The restaurant was not busy our server was chatting with her coworkers and not paying attention to her tables. Her taking forever to give us our bill made us late for our movie. The food was just alright. Being Latino myself I had really high hopes and I always love supporting Latino restaurants but sadly I won’t be coming back. Highly do not recommend. Sorry.

V	Vonna Nedriss on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I decided to try this place for the first time and will not be going back. The server was extremely helpful and that was probably the only saving grace. Our order took almost an hour to come to us when tables who were seated after us were being served first. We ordered appetizers and some drinks to start. The appetizers that eventually made it to our table were cold and bland and we still had no drinks. Our main dish was no better and the wait time was just ridiculous. I wasn’t going to say anything but I decided to mention it to the manager (Anna) who was very dismissive. I was being polite as I understand that sometimes things get mixed up in the kitchen but I was made to feel like I was pestering her. She was very short and abrupt and even laughed at me in what I felt was a condescending way when I told her my complaint. This is not good customer service at all. Everyone has good and bad days but a customer should never leave feeling worse than when they came in. The whole experience was such a turn off I had to waste even more of my time than I already did visiting this place in writing this review. Good luck to them with service like that!
I	Irina Rojo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I did not find what I was looking for, as a Mexican you try places that take you back to the food you were used to and this place does not achieve its objective. Small and expensive tacos. The Taco al pastor is good, and the tortilla soup is not bad but I also found it expensive (12.90). Taco supremo de Lengua almost 7 CAD. Heads up! Prices are different between QR menu (cheaper) and printed menu!!! Obviously you pay the highest! I had to leave the Pollo con Mole taco intact, the taste was awful.
D	Dan Hart on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place was pretty empty when we were there. We had Nacos and a couple Modelos. Not the best nachos I've had, but quite good. Service was just slow enough that when we wondered what was taking so long, the food arrived.

Plus the amount of sauce on the side was just ridiculous. Note that guac came with chips, so for tacos you only get red sauce. Don’t think I’ll order again
K	Karl on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great prices, amazing food and even better margaritas! Mango and strawberry were phenomenal; we would return strictly for the great service if not anything else.. visited before closing on a birthday night and server went out of her way to make the visit special!!
M	Mockie on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good food, cheap beer and large portions. Wouldn’t say it’s the best Mexican food I’ve had and my rice straight-up tasted like bad oil/grease. Probably a once off mistake and I’m willing to give it another go. I would recommend this place if you’re looking to fill your guts up with meat/tortillas/beans/rice/chesse/beer Mariachi band every week too, go shake your maracas!
