Mohammad is very professional: my hair is hard to cut, and Mohammad knows just how to cut it. If it was any other barber, they would not know how to cut my tough hair. I have changed many barbers to find Mohammad to be the ultimate barber. I absolutely recommend Mohammad for any individual, male or female. Thank you for blessing me with your skills.

I've been getting my haircuts with Mohammad for the past 4 years at his previous locations and have continued with him at his new location Joon hair salon. This location is an excellent experience with multiple stylists available for any other services you need (hair wash, waxing, nail etc). I've gotten my girlfriend to come here too and she got her eyebrows done. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for great service at a competitive price. Not to mention their location is accessible by transit making it easy for anyone on the north shore to visit them

0 star not even a 1 star Bought a groupon for a shellac mani/pedi for $39. Great price so I thought worth the drive. I was very wrong. -I showed up on time for my appointment and parked in the free 1 hour parking out front. Beautiful salon on entry. -Waited 25 minutes past my appointment time waiting for technician. -Male technician did not seem to know how to remove my old shellac -Male technician did not trim or even out my toe nails. -Male technician put on my shellac on toes however kept bubbling as he was not doing correctly, another staff member then had to come remove shellac and redo my toes from fresh. -After being scolded the male technician then stormed off. -VERY AGGRESSIVE in removing and I was left with 3 cuts on my toes. -Seat massage wasn't turned on once and they only soaked my feet for five minutes. They explained that because groupon takes most the money they can't give me the full experience for only $15 -Waited an additional 20 minutes after pedicure for female technician to do my nails. - Was very aggresive and cut my cuticle on 2 fingers, -Kept shoving my hand carelessly into the dryer so 3 times she scratched the fresh shellac off my nail and had to start over. -Did not even cover whole nail to cuticle. Left large gap of unpolished nail. -right ring finger started to ripple as wasn’t cured properly -air bubbles(dark like they were burnt) showing on almost all nails -Colour on hands is not even remotely even , some nails clearly got more coats then others. -Discolouration of polish -Bubbling of nails -After one week 3 nails chipping -Salon was full of “friends” hanging out, bumming smokes off each other -All salon “friends” and staff were talking in their own language the whole time making me feel very uncomfortable. -Some guy came in to the salon, not sure if he is a financial backer or inspector he was EXTREMELY rude and was completely condescending to the assistant(?) in the spa. He was demanding to know why she had not prepared a safety manual for her staff about dealing with the chemicals stating he had given her weeks to do this. It was loud, uncomfortable and left me feeling unsafe. -Appointment took 2 hours 20 mins- thank god I was not ticketed as I had parked in the 1 hour parking outside the shop. I have NEVER had a nail appointment take more then 1 hour. -I didn’t tip. I ALWAYS tip but I was seriously not impressed. They were upset by this. Are you seriously expecting one after the hell you put me through?! Over all I am disgusted by this experience. I got this done as a treat for myself- jokes on me. Pics are 8 days after appoinment!

Best hair salon in Vancouver. It was my first time visiting here, but both of me and my friend just fell in love with the haircut we got from Vivi. Vivi is very knowledgeable. She will understand your needs and get your hair done in the way that not only you asked for, but also the way that suits you the most. The staffs were very friendly and professional too. I would definitely go back here and recommend this place to my friends.
