β β β β β Very tasty. The Szechuan boiled fish was firy. Cumin lamb tender with generous dusting of spices, although some piece were chewy due to pieces with connective tissue. Menu is more canto than szechuan.

β β β β β Big portions, low price and well cooked food. I come here occasionally for lunch. A meal plus appetizer under 11 dollars. It is a simple casual place. Your neighborhood chinese restaurant. Only critique is the tea could be hotter.

β β β β β This place has traditional North American Chinese food from when Chinese food was economical and not as sophisticated as today. We ordered the fish congee which had a healthy serving of basa fish. We also ordered a single order combo of sweet and sour chicken and fried shrimps which was large enough for 2 people.
Covid update: They're closed for dine-in but it's one of the best deals for delivery or pickup Chinese food. Now that old favorite Orange Door is closed, this is the new Go to.

β β β β β Excellent Chinese food in North Vancouver! I usually go to Capilano Heights Chinese restaurant, but they close early. This place is the next best thing. Excellent soft chow mein noodles. Very good sweet and sour pork. Delicious wonton soup. The hot and sour soup was just ok.

β β β β β We ordered several dishes from Chilli Lee after comparing menu prices online with another close Chinese restaurant. They were about $5 less for nearly every dish but WORTH EVERY PENNY!
Our order of 5 dishes was placed by phone with a very nice lady who totalled the bill which came to just over $70 so we were treated to free Fried Rice via the online coupon. It worked out to $20 per person and we had enough leftovers for dinner for two the next day. That's good value.
The dishes were generous, flavourful and full of fresh ingredients. Lovely Ginger Beef; big strips, not tiny strings, packed with flavour. Sweet and Sour Pork was tasty, too. Singapore Noodles were loaded with veggies as was the Curried Veg. The Chicken w/Cashew has lots of big pieces of meat and tasty cashews. Bonus Chicken Fried Rice really rounded out the plates.
We could have used a little bit more heat in the sauce, but, for us, better to err on the side of caution first time out.
Our order was ready within 15 minutes and we picked up and ate at home. We will order from them again.

β β β β β Food and service at Chilli Lee is excellent. Have been there many times eating in or take out - I had always assumed we lived too far away for delivery (Deep Cove), but on this Friday night I had a craving, and didn't feel like driving to Lonsdale - so I took a chance and inquired and so happy to discover that for only $6 delivery was possible. I'm sure it would have cost me more in gas to pick it up.
Thank you Chilli Lee, for making this happen - really needed a break and this treat after a very busy week! Family favourites include House Special Ginger Fried Beef, Mushu Chicken, House Special Chow Mein (Crispy), Cashew Nut Chicken. We tried the Orange Peel Chicken tonight and that was yummy too.

β β β β β I used to love to order from this restaurant. I'm not sure whether it's new ownership or if they're chosing to use inferior ingredients even though their prices have gone up recently but the food is awful now. I'm so disappointed. I hardly ever write reviews but I've eaten about a quarter of my meal and I fear I'm going to be sick.

β β β β β Have had takeout many times from this restaurant and it was always great. My partner and I ordered from them last week and both had the chicken balls but I stopped eating them as I noticed they looked a bit off. My partner ended up getting food poisoning about 6 hours later and was sick terribly sick for the next 24 hours. Wouldn't go back again.
