Trying to close my deceased parents account. It’s been well over a year and I did everything I was told to do and then go back and they still won’t close it telling me there’s other things I need to do. I already signed the papers been to the branch like 10 times. Then the financial advisor asks me if I was adopted!! I’m like no I’m next of kin he’s my father. He’s like well if he wasn’t married how were you conceived? I’m like first of all my mother is also dead second of all people have children without getting married. I am completely offended. When I asked if I could speak to management or get management contact info I was refused. I was refused any contact with the estate department as well. Then the woman had the nerve to ask if I had a personal account with td! No I don’t and never will after my horrible experiences with td. And to think I was going to originally invest money too. I do not recommend td in the slightest nor will I ever.

My mother who is 75 made a mistake at the atm paid the wrong bill. She went to the branch to get it fixed. At first they told her she had done a withdrawl for 10k at the machine. My poor mom could not understand what they were telling her. Most people know you cant take 10k out of a babk machine. They said they would investigate and it would take two weeks. My mom called me and i talked to the person she was talking to. So rude told me my mom made the error she should fix it. As soon as i ssw her bank statement print out i knew what had happen. How did they not know? They had my mom in tears. Told her she was causing a line up. How can you be so rude TD. 45 year clients. Shame on you

I deposited post-dates checks at this location, and the people actually lost my checks. Not once, not twice, but three times. They did not apologize. There was no compensation. I don’t usually write online reviews, but this branch is really awful. The bank charges 5$ for post-dated check deposit. The branch failed to fulfill the service and also failed to compensate me for all the times I have had to travel to their branch to fix issues they caused. Do not open a bank account here. The BMO or Scotiabank is right across the street.

Very odd design choice compared to most TD Banks..I love the location, unfortunately they do not have cash available inside, ATM's only. Convenient location if you work in the mall, they don't really have parking here though. You would need to park in the mall lot and walk over. Not a huge deal but it's the little things. I do not like their boardwalk style interior when you walk in to use the ATM. I always feel like I'm going to lose my bank card through the slats in the floor one of these days. Same with loose change. Even a couple of mats would resolve this.

Admittedly, we're in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic ... However, I have 4 fraudulent charges that came out of my account, yesterday and I am currently well over 2,000 miles away from where they took place. There is no specific "fraud" department at TD, to contact. The 866 number on the back of my Access Card just disconnects without allowing me to speak to anyone. My home branch couldn't do anything to help me. This is VERY frustrating and is giving me serious cause to look at moving my business to another financial institution. I'm NOT very pleased at all !!!

Bank elsewhere. Was spoken down to and treated like a second class citizens for accidently depositing a check in into the wrong account. My mistake resulted in held funds as this account lacked history. Management refused to give me the time of day, she discussed my private banking matters in front of other customers in the crowded lobby, while making unfounded assumptions. After 40 years of banking at TD I'm taking my business, and my family's business elsewhere. BMO, RBC, CIBC... Lots of options. I recommend anybody but TD.

I have been a long standing customer at TD and have always had great experiences with all their staff until today. I had the worst customer service ever at TD with Wendy Yee at the Park Royal Branch. I would strongly recommend for TD to provide this individual with some customer service training as working as a teller is all about customer service and knowing how to do your job.

The lack of competence at this branch is eye watering; 3 different stories from 3 different employees all of them materially different. I wish it was not so difficult to change banks as I'd be doing exactly that. Stay away unless you want to plan your financial life based on INCORRECT information.
