Taste to Savour Kitchen and Catering

Tracy was a pleasure to work with from the very beginning. She helped us to determine the best items for our wedding menu and was able to tailor the menu to multiple different allergies and dietary preferences. The food was very delicious and all of our guests loved it, we had compliments for weeks afterwards! She even packed up the leftovers for us to take home after the wedding, which was a bonus since we didn't have much time to eat the night of! One piece of criticism is that one of the bartenders was giving guests and ourselves attitude throughout the evening and we found that our signature drinks were made differently throughout the night by the same bartender. I would also recommend asking in advance which rental items will be needed by the catering staff in order to budget rental costs ahead of time, as items were added a few days before the wedding. But all in all I would definitely recommend this company to others!

Tracy catered our New Year's Eve wedding on Bowen Island and we couldn't have been more impressed. Lindsey Prunty and I did a tasting with Tracy a couple months beforehand and her menu items were easily the best we had tried. She was very knowledgable about catering large events and her prices were excellent! She and her team showed up early the day of the wedding and served up amazing amuse bouches to our guests. Shrimp & grits in cute little mason jars, tuna tataki and Moroccan lamb skewers were so flavourful and did a great job of keeping the wolves at bay for our hungry guests. We had a large celiac contingent, but Tracy helped us to create a menu that everyone could enjoy without sacrificing great flavours. Dinner was served on time and was incredible! Fresh sockeye salmon and italian sausage lasagna along with amazing sides and a big selection of fresh salads. We finished the night with a beautiful baron of beef to keep our guests going through midnight. It was one of the tastiest things I've ever eaten. It's nearly two months later and our guests are still raving to us about the amazing food served by Tracy and her talented crew. We couldn't recommend Taste to Savour more highly and will definitely be looking to Tracy again in the future. Thanks Tracy!!

Working with Tracy was fabulous!! Not only is she an excellent chef, but her organizational skills and overall knowledge of how to run a well organized and successful function was outstanding. We had a wedding party for roughly 300 people and things went off without a hitch. The food was beautiful, delicious and well priced. Tracy's staff were lovely to work with, hard working and friendly. I am trying to think of constructive criticism to make this review well balanced but honestly I cannot think of anything. Tracy was open to meeting with us numerous times, did several tastings with us, was open to feedback and worked around our likes/dislikes and allergies. I would definitely hire Taste to Savour again in the future and would highly recommend them!!!

Our experience with Tracy and Therese with Taste to Savour was exceptional. We hired them for our backyard wedding of 45 people this August and they were extremely patient and gave us so much guidance in what we would need to pull it off since we had never planned a catered party like this before. We found their menu creative and diverse. Tracy was receptive to any food allergies and intolerances our guests had which was very comforting. The variety and quality of the food really hit a nerve with our guests- everyone is still talking to us about how delicious it was. There are a couple things that make a good party GREAT and food is one of them, I would recommend them again and again for any occasion.

I highly recommend Taste to Savour catering for any event. Tracy is easy to work with, organized, smart, makes delicious, creative and good-looking food, serves it perfectly to fit the event, and really goes above and beyond to make each event special. My husband and I had been contemplating plans for our wedding for several months. We were in Vancouver for an event and it just so happened that both of our immediate families were in town at the same time, so we decided to take the opportunity to try and pull off a wedding in a weekend!? My mom had been recommended Taste to Savour by a friend and so I called Tracy on the off chance she might be available to do a wedding on Monday night, in 3 days...and she was! She came over the next day, toured the house with my mom and I and helped us to envision the best spots for the ceremony, the catering, the bar, cake and speeches. She recommended what furniture to rent for 75 guests, coordinated all the rentals and came over to help set up. She even transformed our back deck into a warm winter lounge with a canopy tent wrapped in lights she lent us and her propane fire pit that both heated and completed the ambient feel. Tracy worked with us to design the food menu to specially match the feel of the party and our dietary needs. On top of it all, she offered to order and pick up all our alcohol, and created a signature drink for our wedding. The cocktail party dinner menu was perfectly adapted to us - each dish was creative, tasty and beautifully put together, and our guests were well fed. Tracy's staff, including servers and bartenders were friendly, classy, and well organized. Our wedding was exactly what we wished for and we could not have made it happen without Tracy and Taste to Savour. I can't thank her or recommend this company highly enough! Thank you Tracy, you are the best!

We had a very large wedding and Tracy / Taste to Savour did an excellent job at a great price. The food was tasty and plentiful and the service was very friendly. Our guests were very happy and we are still enjoying the leftovers we froze! Tracy worked with us to develop a menu we were very excited about and she also met with us several times to make sure everything was properly organized. We highly recommend her and her company.

Tracy and her team at Taste to Savour are as good as it gets! We had Tracy cater our wedding last weekend and we were absolutely thrilled with the delicious food they served. We had canapes during our cocktail reception, followed by a amazing buffet dinner and a tasty midnight snack! Our guests raved about the food! We are still talking about how great the meal was. We had a couple vegans in our group and Tracy took extra care to serve them vegan meals which they were so happy about! Tracy is professional, kind, and knows how to run a great team of people to help execute a flawless event. She went above and beyond her role and even helped out with little things like telling the wedding party when to start walking down the aisle, and pouring us glasses of Prosecco right before the ceremony. We have been thanking our lucky stars every day since our wedding that we went with Taste to Savour!!!

The proof is in the pudding... or the name in this case. Savour the taste of Tracy and co's delicious meals. I've ordered twice from Tracy (Father's Day and Easter) and attended a handful of her catered events. The team cooks for the occasion, is spot on with timing, and never disappoints the palate.
