★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love this place but did not appreciate being charged upfront for 2 paper cups when I was in on Sunday. My hot chocolate wasn’t even hot enough to need a second cup. I understand the fee, but what happened to sleeves to save on cups? Next time I’d rather be informed that it will double cupped, or asked if I need another cup as I’d rather not waste a second cup when it isn’t necessary on a lukewarm “hot” chocolate.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very cute and welcoming cafe with beautiful decor. I lived nearby for a year and tried almost everything on the menu. My top 3 bakery items are 1. lemon meringue tarts (saturday only), 2. packaged sugar cookies with royal icing, 3. Scones (not the cheddar one).

Would be five stars had they not added mayo to my breakfast sandwich despite counter staff assuring me there would be none on the sandwich.
I had only discovered this once back in my office as it was a to go order.
Otherwise the baked goods and drinks were wonderful!
(Extremely texture sensitive to mayo and similar consistencies)

Flavours are very authentic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very disappointing. Looks like a lovely place on the outside. Ordered a coffee and a cupcake. Cupcake was rock hard and stale couldn’t eat it. They shouldn’t be selling food not fit for consumption. The coffee was basically just a cup of foamed milk. Won’t be coming back

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I tried 2 products from Butter Baked Goods:
Simple chocolate cupcake - good enough, decent, a little inconsistent with the batter. There were small chunks of unmixed flour that tasted different from the rest of the batter. Frosting was sweet and the cake was a LOT less sweet. So it balanced when eaten together. Still, not the best cupcake. Good packaging. (Nov 2021)
Vanilla homemade marshmello ( in a clear bag with branded sticker and blue ribbon) - terrible. It was so gross I didn't want to finish the bite. I ate 1 whole piece just in case I was wrong about the taste. And shared with my family and friends to get their opinion. We all thought it was expired but checked the lot/exp and saw that it was not expired. The marshmallows tasted like the inside of a musky antique wooden cupboard. Very strangely woody and old. It was disgusting. I threw the rest out. Waste of money. (Oct 2020)
