You gonna feel a very strong curry smell at the moment you crossed the door, that is because they sell delicious meals ready to go. Everything is more expensive compared to other grocery stores but depending what you want this is the place to go.

Be it cooked food or spices, their collection is very well thought out! They have a great selection of spices and if you're unsure about which ones you need, this is a great store to look around and figure out which ones you're looking for! They have an amazing collection of cheese and crackers as well! Would totally recommend!

M	Mike W on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Being an employee of a Jim Pattinson company also, surprised to learn Meinhardt was purchased by buy low foods in 2012. First visit here as it was across the street from my Osteopath at Anata Wellness and had to kill some time waiting for my wife getting her crown done at her dentist on Broadway. Amazed at all the different unique products and being indecisive had a hard time deciding what to try but didn’t feel welcomed when wandering the isles. When deciding what to buy they seemed to have multiple staff monitor each isle at the back of the store giving a shopper the impression they doing 5 finger shopping. We run business differently at my banner as we practice customer first always which makes the patron feel valued and have LPOs but I guess a smaller business can’t run LPOs unlike a larger grocer. Also we ask if anyone needs help if they seem lost. Despite this, this kids loved the French macarons, unique drinks and chips. Wife enjoyed the butter and tandoori chicken, as well as the Indian lentils and rotini salad. The Mediterranean soup was great also as we finished all the food for dinner. Maybe next time if I return I’ll up dress to blend in with the South Granville crowd to draw less attention instead of wearing lululemon attire which is more comfortable than tight clothing for my practitioner to perform adjustments.

Excellent selection, excellent prepared food, huge selection of fish. Their space is a bit cramped. Can be crowded during peak hours. They are implementing social distancing and there can be line outside when there are too many customers inside. Highly recommended.

The selection of baked goods, produce, ready to eat foods, dairy, meat, fish and fresh flowers means that there is always something for everyone. We used to really enjoy the personalized customer service here, as it was our neighborhood go-to. When we shopped, the manager at that time knew our names and remembered the things we liked. He usually talked us into trying something new that he was excited about. It wasn't uncommon to see Linda around and it was a nice little neighborhood place. We still drop by regularly but the customer service element and the atmosphere have changed. Staff often seem task oriented and too busy to interact with customers.

I see complaints on pricing but this is a fine food and drink importer and doesn't advertise as being on the low cost side. In terms of product quality I think they aren't overpriced and is true to the quality of foods, products and service. Highly recommend.
