★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Customer service is severely lacking. Just went in here this morning, and I tried to buy something ahead of time, was willing to PAY UPFRONT, but they said I was only allowed to have one of them put on hold, and they told me I would have to come down there to get them to hold it the day it comes out, even though they already had it in the store, this obviously takes away from any convenience of getting a store to hold something.
They did not make any effort to accommodate me, and like always just seemed to want me out of the store. I just moved from Vancouver so I have only been in here a few times, but I have spent hundreds of dollars here on sealed TCG products, and I have been nothing but polite with these people up so I can't figure out why they don't want my business.
Also, I personally think they were lying about the amount they had in stock, because unless they get delivered opened half empty cases of products, its more likely that they sold the other half to someone already but were not willing to give me the same treatment...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very knowledgable staff. I saw a staff helping a husband looking for a present for his wife. The staff was able to make a lot of good recommendations based on the genre and author of the show she watches.
I am happy to have a game store in the neighbourhood.
They just newly opened and there are some shelves still empty, but I did find very cute Nendoroid (Tracer and Link). They have a bit of everything. It's fun even just browsing around.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sorry you guys started off so awesome but your prices in the last year are worst then scalpers . Just like the guy before Penny sleeves 4$ a pack , went to Walmart in the same mall and got this this 1000 pack for 15$ same brand and they had tons !
230$ for chilling reign booster box on release is insanity too. You guys should take a look at zephyrs that is the best card store in the lower mainland with UPCs at 180$ . There's making a profit and there's just robbery to the not knowing parents over paying for cards for their kids this Christmas.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ How this place has a 4.4 out of 5 is beyond me. A number of the staff here have horrendous customer service and two are just plain rude. There are some decent staff here that make up for it a bit. It's not all bad...but honestly there are a few staff here that are so unfriendly. One guy is always looking at his computer or phone and barely helps you even when approached. The selection here is incredible for comics, tcg, games, supplies and funkos, so I guess this explains the alright rating... I have stopped going here just due to how poorly a few staff treat you. I do want to say that there are a couple guys and one girl that are always smiling and pleasant when you are shopping. They aren't all bad. The prices are alright and they have great selection.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited in April 2022 to browse for books and accessories that might be useful in my D&D 5E games. While they have a good selection of tabletop RPG items, I found the prices on the high end. Miniature figures - specifically an Orc Warband - I purchased at an FLGS in Burnaby last weekend for $53 was about 10% more expensive here. Also, I purchased the latest D&D hardcover - Call of the Netherdeep - at another game store for $54 but it was the cover price of $65 at T&N. (NOTE: As I write this review, the Netherdeep book is selling for $50 on Amazon.ca). I wouldn't start my RPG shopping spree here, but I might drop in if I couldn't find what I was looking for at another brick & mortar shop or online.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disappointed that this store started over pricing their supplies at $4 for a pack of penny sleeves
Hours later I find another place selling them for $1/pack and thought to myself i could return the original purchase since it was still sealed (per their return policy on the receipt)--WRONG
Worker there tells me "the credit card machine doesn't issue refunds" (it's 2021--how does your machine not issue refunds) and passive aggressively accuses that "I could have taken out a few sleeves to use"
Why the hell would I waste my OWN TIME AND GAS "taking a few sleeves out to use and return the rest" ?♂️
edit - store never issued a refund. Only store credit (which i probably will never use) or exchange for another item (that i have no interest in either)
