★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fresh, tasty and a healthy meal for even the 6 year old food critic in your house. After a long week, our family needed a pick me up. We put in an order and were told it would be ready for pick up in 20 min. On our way to the restaurant we got a call that our order was ready. You have to order their Portobello mushroom and fries. They were so crispy and the sauce that came with it was a perfect match. We also ordered the Zucchini Noodle bowl - it was so crisp and fresh. My husband thought for sure the noodles would be soggy - but they were not! We also ordered an Over the Top sandwich (steak) cooked just right with just enough spice. To be honest, we shared each meal because, everything tasted so good. Our family will definitely keep Symposium Whitby in mind to help us celebrate over the holidays because, it was so good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely try the affogato, the waffles were ok and the chicken parmesan was great to share, with delicious spaghetti. Service was good and fast, tables socially distanced and fast check in. A nice patio outside with shade to guard from the sun.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Symposium Cafe is a lovely restaurant with a different atmosphere . It’s not a sports bar or a roadhouse. Nice and open and you can see what you’re eating. The food tho!! It’s sooo good. I’ve had a few things now I’ve tried that were the best. I can’t wait to try some other dishes! Highly recommended! I will return!! Great service too!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely fantastic food for vegetarian options. They have a wonderful blend of food choices. I had Vegetarian Pad Thai, Veg Stir Fry, carrot cake, caramel apple cheese cake and a yummy appetizer of perogies.
The food was fresh, warm and tasty and it was delivered by the owner Sunny personally. He did it for me as a huge favour and because it was Women’s Day!
I use to order from the Ajax location - but I will only order from Whitby.
Service & Food was absolutely + 5 star! Hat’s off to the chef, staff and Owner! ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was surprised how quiet this place was on a Friday night and think it’s probably because they are in a tucked away corner and the masses haven’t realized it yet. Symposium Cafe always has incredible desserts and this location is no exception! Freshly made crêpe with fresh fruit. Also really enjoyed the Vanilla Cranberry mule!
Our server was on his third day and went over and beyond to make sure we had a good experience. Definitely will stop in again especially to enjoy the patio once it’s warmer!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a great time with my brother. The food was really delicious and Michelle was so nice and helpful! My brother took the wings with ribs and I took Michelle’s suggestion, Teriyaki Chicken???loved it❤️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful interiors, everything else was bad. The server forgot to bring fries and coleslaw with our order. She later brought us some fries (comped) but they were over fried and our food was over by then. The wings were not great as well, my partner regretted ordering them. The flatbread had that “baked from frozen” taste all too familiar from frozen pizzas and the drinks were brought only after we were halfway through our food, after many reminders. The margarita was not blended, it had ice in it and the only good thing was that the quantity was good (pitcher). Everything was so bad that we couldn’t believe it and it was almost funny. Also, our server seemed to be high but not sure. I’m surprised by the other raving reviews.
