About Suzanne Truba
How We Started Out
In 1968, Suzanne Truba while working as a registered nurse discovered a new career interest: - Women's Retail Fashion. Risking it all, she set out to improve the state of fashion for women in Calgary. Soon after her splash into the fashion industry, her sister, Toni, started making waves of her own.
Together they began to serve up the latest in women's fine boutique clothing. The edgy tone to their approach was reflected in the product lineup: cool and casual with a good dose of fun. These sisters had given the Calgary fashion scene the injection it needed.
