Even if this location is out of the way for you, you should try and make the trip, Adam and staff will treat you right!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm a novice fly fisher at best(literally days into it). I asked what flies I should pick up as I was going to camp along the Livingstone for couple of days and I was enthusiastically shown a variety flies. I was not let down and had a great trip.

This is the fly shop you want to go to in Calgary. Everyone is welcomed and treated as a friend.

Angus & Johnny took a genuine interest in my fishing & they wanted to help me get the best experience out of my equipment. It's great to have a job where you can engage others in one's hobby!
I don't live in Calgary anymore, but I will be back at Iron Bow to help me out with my future fishing needs.

I remember my first time going in as a complete rookie and it didn’t matter the questions I asked, I never felt like I was being spoken down to and two years on it’s the exact same, only now I feel as though I’m visiting friends when I enter the shop. Whether you’re just getting into fly fishing or have been doing it for years, this is the place to go.
The fact it’s also dog friendly just makes it that much better.

But most important. The staff at Iron Bow are amazing, super helpful. You can tell they simply love what they do. I’m still learning lots - and the staff there made me feel at home and provided solid advice based on their experience.
