Service was rude the first time I went in to renew my insurance. She claimed that they didn't sell the insurance that I was trying to renew although I purchased it from them the year before. Now after 3 weeks of trying to get simple banking information changed I had to call the insurance agency myself and they did it for me over the phone. They should be called Suckssex! Island Savings across the parking lot gave me great service.

My wife and my daughter was there earlier today to add my daughter as an L driver in her car insurance and she was greeted by a guy with the word β€œAdvance Condolence” which were offensive, shocking if not scary to hear. This was totally not acceptable coming from an insurance organization serving the whole province. He didn’t even offer any apology or did retract his words till they finished the process. Total arrogance and rudeness I must say and will never recommend their business to anyone that I know.

Wow, these folks work fast! Very busy when I was in there and they still got me out the door in no time. I wish insurance was always this easy.

My experience at Sussex was so great that I came here to write a five-star review. The lady that helped me yesterday at about 6:30 was extremely kind, fun and helpful. She insisted in explaining me everything I needed to know about the insurance and coverage I was picking until she was sure I understood it. The service was quick and done professionally. I am honestly surprised, given that the only other review was a 1-star rant.

Was selling a car and inquired about papers required for the buyer to insure and was told vehicle transfer papers was all that was needed. When in fact you also need the signed ICBC vehicle registration paper. That created a huge problem when the new owner went to register, as the previous owner was in Hospice and had died. It created a lot of undo drama for both the buyer and the seller when the question was asked at the counter initially, what does the buyer need to insure this vehicle? This is a PS on my original post, the owner was still alive when the vehicle was sold and she wanted it sold before she died. Which we did, the error was not discovered until 3 days after she died creating a whole lot of drama when the question had been asked at the insurance counter at the time of the original sale...

My husband and I went here to switch our vehicle from Ontario to BC. We chose Sussex because of the hours. We were helped by Darryl who was very friendly, helpful and professional. It was a long process but Darryl was very patient and attentive with us and we really appreciated it. We definitely would recommend this place. Thanks so much!
