Stopped here for lunch (without consulting TA reviews) as we all craved a poke. Not disappointed, in fact it was surprisingly good! Ingredients seemed fresh, plenty of flavours, presented well and portions reasonable.Service was good. If in a hurry, there is a fridge of pre-packed sushi boxes to takeaway. The place is small and kept clean. Enough seating for 8-10. Easy to find. Not on the main strip/street.

I ordered chicken and mango poke with some other types for a friend but when I got home, my order wasn't complete in the bag. I called them, the guy said his boss will call me back as soon as possible to reimburse whatever I'd paid for that missing part. It looks he meant couple of months or years by saying as soon as possible. I haven't get any calls from them and also tried to call them, I haven't got any responses yet. I'm now editing my review and I increase the rate that I'd considered as the problem is solved

The sushi is incredibly good! However if you go for the take away boxes already prepared in the fridge, there is a chance they might not be so tasty.. sometimes they can be even disappointing, but that's very rare. The Poke bowls are amazing, especially the Vege one.. who would've thought?! :))

Cheaters! Check your change next to cashier! The lady-cook-cashier-chief gave us 45.8$ instead of 54.8$!!!!!! We realized it only at home, because we even didn’t think it can happen. We had unpleasant experience at this “shop” Feb 12. We ordered two miso-soups and 6 different rolls: two tuna rolls, two salmon rolls, and couple special rolls. It supposed to be really sweet evening of our first day in Canada and we were absolutely excited to get Japanese food after long busy day. All rolls looked delicious on the pictures, but before ordering we asked guys, if it’s possible, to wrap tuna and salmon rolls as regular rolls with nori seaweed over the rice. They said it’s possible. When I tried to pay for my order the system offered to add the tips, but there was no option to add custom amount of tips, only 10%, 15% and 20%. Excuse me, 20% for self serving place? Are you kidding? But okay, I let it go and paid 10%. When they brought two cold soups with strong onion flavor I became a bit skeptical: they even didn’t heat soup that was probably made in the morning. Okay, we asked to make it warmer and sweet guy at cashier desk did it for us. Later, when we got our “rolls” I realized that I have the only one wish to turn time back and never go to this place again! As picture shows, rolls were made like if I made it being 5 yo girl. I couldn’t even grab a piece, it was falling apart on the way to plate with soy sauce! I am experienced sushi eater and I really couldn’t even lift a piece from plate. Also for two people they brought only one plate for soy sauce. Seriously? I was completely disappointed! We came to a cashier and explained the whole situation. After couple minutes of conversation we agreed on particular refund where they had to charge us only for two miso-soups, but as I said before lady didn’t give us correct amount and we realized it only at home. Absolutely unacceptable! Very disappointing! Avoid this place!

Chanced upon this small shop while walking around the area. Ordered some sushi taco and maki rolls and both tasted amazing. The sushi taco is a nice fusion between the sweet salmon and crispy wanton skin. The pheonix roll is also very special with some rice skin used and is crispy on the top and soft at the bottom. The ramen soup is tasty, however dont expect it to be close to what you can get at ramen shops. The food do take a while to arrive but definitely worth a try because everything is prepared from scratch.

Item( sushi pizza) in the order was missing, staff member didn't care or said anything when I came back an hour later to get it. Had a not so nice exchange with the manager when I pointed the lack of any customer services, I decided to just get my money back instead to wait again for the order to be completed.Clearly my satisfaction was optional. Now for the meal, the poke bowl seem incomplete, fill with lots of salad. The spicy mayo was good.There is nicer options around the area, we were excited to try that one but then very disappointed.

Good atmosphere. Quiet although the busy street outside. Sushi was good. Mine was hot, spicy, quick and well prepared. Service could be better but acceptable. I guess it depenses on who is in and when.

Worst sushi we've had. Over sauced, not rolled or cut properly and tasted bad. Praying not to get sick now!
