Supermoon Japanese Style Cheesecakes - South Common

I found this place when the lockdowns closed my closest Uncle Tetsus, I just got a regular one but was excited that they had 3 regular flavours and a flavour of the month! I love that you can get a free one after 10, my boyfriend and I look forward every month to trying a new cheesecake and saving the moon. I even bought 2 in one month because the Taro was so delicious! They are most light, fluffy, dense, wonderful cake. I recommend this company to everyone!

I've only tried their FOTM Strawberry honey and the original, but i can 100% say for certain that I'll come back regularly for their cakes which are very fluffy and amazingly light which makes for a very good dessert to have after a meal.

The employee working at Supermoon was even kind enough to assist me with checking into the event LOL. It's been a while since I've last gone to a Yelp Elite Event so you know, I'm definitely rusty when it comes to those functions on the app ? ⠀ The only suggestion I have for Supermoon is to open a location closer to me! Took me almost a ???? ???? to get to their store but it was totally worth it ?

I am happy that there is a location closer to me since I love Japanese cheesecake! This is the first I've have from this chain and I can see why it's so popular. We ordered the strawberry cheesecake for $14 (flavour of the month) and some tarts. The cheesecake was light and fluffy and had a really subtle strawberry flavour. The tarts were creamy and had a great flaky buttery crust. I also like how you can collect 10 moons to redeem for a free cake! Highly recommend.

I have always been a regular customer of super moon. They always have a monthly flavour that is always worth a try. For the month of March, they have London fog. It’s very subtle but delicious as always. Their cheesecake is creamy instead of fluffy, so it’s filling and very satisfying. They also have new treats, the shortbread cookies and the shortbread with jam filling made with almond flour. I tried the shortbread cookies and they are amazing. It’s sweet and salty so it’s a good balance and it melts in your mouth. They have a Facebook and instagram account that is very active in letting people know what the next flavour would be for the month. Highly recommended!

Review of the Taro Cheesecake and the Cheese tart. The cheese tart was decent, but I do prefer the cheese tart from uncle tetsu. Now the Taro Cheesecake (which is the flavour of the month), was to die for!! I love taro and I love cheesecakes. So this combo was amazing. I will probably come back again this month to make sure I capitalize on the limited time flavour. Update: just tried the red velvet. It was good but I definitely prefer the Ube over this one! It was still delicious nonetheless!

Starting to love this place! I came by few days ago to try the cheese tart and absolutely became obsessed with them! I went today (tuesday dec 21) and decided to try the original big cheesecake with 4 cheese tarts. The girl working there - I wasn’t able to get her name; she is so sweet and we chatted a bit while I waited for the cheese tarts to get cooked after it got busy when I entered the place. The cheese tarts are so good! I love how it tastes so smooth, creamy with a hint of crunchy texture from the top glaze on top. The bottom crust is perfect as well. The cheesecake is soft and i love how it’s very subtle with the flavour - not too strong. Everything taste delicious honestly. Highly recommend to stop by! In addition, their interior design is cute too hehe!

Best Japanese cheesecake in town! Wanted these guys for so long and when I was in Mississauga I knew I had to stop by and pick myself up a cheesecake! The texture was so creamy, yet so airy and light! And as moist as you think it should be to be perfect, and this was it! Totally better than the competitor out there and great thing is that they have different flavours too! Chocolate, red velvet and a flavour of the month! It’s just too bad that it’s so far from me, but definitely worth the road trip when you want an amazing Japanese cheesecake! And they also have a location in newmarket now too! So gonna have to check that out! Service was awesome and will definitely be my new go to and benchmark for Japanese cheesecakes! Great job overall!
