Moving across the country from Vancouver to Toronto and my car broke down 2 KM before we reached Edson and luckily were able to get the car into town before it totally died. We were able to take it to Integral Tire to get fixed and the team there took us to the Sundowner Inn. I explained the situation I was in and that it was me and my brother and my cat and we needed a place to stay for the night and probably later into the day. They were over the top accommodating - such wonderful people! They made me feel like it was actually going to be ok! They gave us a room that was away from the other few guests so that it would be quieter and even made sure that we had an easy night. Once I found out that the car wouldn't be ready until around 7 PM I asked if there was anyway we could lengthen our stay and they let us stay until we had the car back and were ready to go. Amazing service and we were so grateful for them while we were there!

Breakfast provided is terrible. The place is just ok for a night any time longer will start making you disturbed in some way that is difficult to quantify. Food options close by ..across the street is a decent place for fusion and Asian meals

Super clean room. AND pet friendly. Great option to have when you're traveling with your furry loved ones. Breakfast and coffee before we left. Perfect visit!.

Very comfortable bed and pillows, rooms on the smaller side, but very clean and great water pressure in the shower which is a breath of fresh air. Nice place with very friendly staff. Stayed here for a week while working I'm the area.

The hotel itself was good, the staff were nice people. A sign for the hot tub being closed was confusing, looked alright to us, until we tried to do our tows in there. It must have been 45Β°+ it was lava hot, makes sense why it was closed Haha. The continental breakfast in the morning had gluten free options, which was super for someone like me. There were both muffins and bread, now I am a huge toast fan, but there were no safe toasters to toast the bread. Lots of jams and spreads to suffice though, it was still very good !!

Staff were friendly and welcoming, and checked us in quickly. Room spacious and well laid out, clean. Coffee maker, fridge, microwave. Only negative was the sink drain was plugged, and was bad enough that it should have been noted earlier. Bag breakfast because of covid.

Beautiful rooms. Super comfy beds. Kitchenette is a bit small. I would've liked to see a fridge with freezer and fridge separate compartments/doors. Shower is great with lots of pressure. Breakfast is decent with real juice and milk available. Would've liked to see a hot breakfast.

I tried to book a room here for our crew. Very simple, 3 nights, one double room and I sent in a credit card authorization. My crew arrived, and there was no reservation under either their names or our business. They corrected this, but my crewman had to use his own credit card for deposit. Then, I was quoted 89$ per room over the phone, but was charged 124$. That's a pretty steep jump. My crew couldn't understand why this place has such a high rating on google. They said it wasn't particularly nice or clean and the "continental breakfast" should be renamed. I understand there are restrictions due to Covid19, but I would consider that still false advertising. And, I would say each time I called and spoke to the female front desk agent, (whose name I can't remember) she was not very friendly, or accommodating, and pretty condescending. I book hotels often in my job, and I'm fairly flexible with a mixup, but I wouldn't book rooms here again. Update: I did receive a refund on the overcharges and the general manager reached out to me to offer his apologies for the service we received which I appreciated. It's nice when a business admits to and tries to fix their mistakes. Thank you.
