A bit of a hike to the lifts in full gear, non issue when transit strike will resolve. Great staff welcome and location next to Fresh market, Cantina not to be understated. Kitchenette help keep budget in check, all around great choice.

I highly recommend the Summit Lodge Boutique Hotel for several reasons: 1) The staff are AHmazing - they are always smiling and truly care about making your stay the best it can be - it shows they truly love what they do! 2) Super dog friendly - they do not charge for your furry friend to stay with you! Plus, every four-legged guest has their name listed on a large dog shaped chalkboard at front desk welcoming them! 3) Hotel location - located in the lower village it is central to everything including the grocery store, yummy restaurants, and shops. 4) The room - I can’t speak for The Summit’s different room types as I have only ever stayed in the deluxe studio. It is very comfortable offering everything you need including a comfy bed and small kitchenette. I especially like the funky decor and sock monster, fireplace and patio. You truly can’t go wrong selecting the Summit Lodge for your upcoming stay especially if you’re traveling with your fur baby - you’re going to love it!!

The walls are paper thin, you can hear everything going on in the next room. While Summit promote they are pet friendly and advertise that they love dogs and give pet owners the perception that staying at summit with their pets is superior than other pet friendly hotels, there was no difference staying at summit compared to any other pet friendly hotel in Whistler. We have an energetic puppy who loves to run around and play, he's a little vocal when he's excited and happy, if you stay at summit, expect to hear dogs playing through the paper thin walls. We did receive a noise complaint about our puppy at this pet friendly hotel, our pup was just playing in the room, nothing out of the ordinary. Next time we will stay at another of the many pet friendly hotels in Whistler, nothing special at summit as being advertised. Their website is just a hype. Any other pet friendly hotel will be fine, There are so many other options. We have stayed at other hotels in the past, this one has very thin walls. Also, don't park in the underground parking, it's designed to maximize parking revenue, many cars are double parked because the stalls are designed for tiny cars. You cannot fit any normal sized car into the stall and open the car doors.

There were many signs advertising a family friendly gathering with free cookies and hot chocolate from 4-5:30. We stopped in with our two kids before 4:30 and it was all gone with no plan to replenish. The front desk did not acknowledge our complaints in any way, and did their best to ignore them, exhibiting a poor approach to customer service. The room was ok, but the hot tub is small and underwhelming, looking like it needed some cleaning. No view of anything special about the pool.

The hotel was very clean and had a great location. You have food and shops around you. If you are doing the snowmobile or ATV, the office for wilderness Adventure is 3 minutes away walking. The only down side was the night staff, they were not very friendly or cared to help much with basic questions. I also walked in to the SPA and was told 2 very different prices for the same massage I wanted to get. The SPA I would not recommend at the hotel.

Nice hotel, with well appointed rooms in a good location (close to everything, but on a quieter Street). However the rooms are far from soundproof and you will hear every person walk by your room in the hall, as well as all those walking above you in their ski boots. Overall not bad though, I would stay again if it were quieter.

Great experience!! One of the things I love more about this place is that they have normal size amenities like shampoo and lotion (not those tiny one that only last one use). It has a hot tub, heated pool and sauna. The place does not have a restaurant but the rooms have kitchenettes with stove and microwave and many close places to have breakfast or dinner. I would definitely recommend this place. It is located in Main st. So no that close to the ski gondolas but the walk across the village is always lovely and short. Maybe one thing to improve would be the pillows.

Expected more for the money. The hot tub wasn't working and the pool was barely heated. The staff thought it was acceptable to call our room at 22:30pm (not ideal after 16 hours traveling and a 8 hour time difference to adjust to). I unplugged the phone for the remainder of our stay which worked a treat. The mattress was extremely soft to the point we'd roll into one another and the rooms were very noisy from other guests (and dogs). The hotel was very clean which was nice and the rooms were cleaned on request to a high standard. The range of room facilities were great however the hotel facilities were lacking. I would try elsewhere in the future.
