The vast selection, sourced from the best mills around the globe, make this destination a professional or discerning domestic tailor’s paradise. The personalized service from the owner is a first-class pleasure. The mood is relaxed and unpressured. Sultan’s own deep appreciation and enjoyment of the beautiful quality of the fabrics is evident, and he has a quick aptitude for discerning exactly what you desire and can lead you straight to it. His expert guidance streamlines the decision process and makes it effortless to leave with choices that delight you. Pin-pointing and extracting the perfect colour and pattern of linings to suit my description and compliment my two choices of wool was accomplished with ease and attention to detail. The prices are unbloated, very fair, and span a wide range depending on the raw material and exact quality parameters. My experience was thoroughly enjoyable and rewarding. For anyone seeking fine fabric, this is Canada’s gem and an incredible find. There is no polyester on the premises. Anyone outside the GTA could order online with complete confidence, both in the product and the company proprietor.

He tells you to go right and look above and you will find the fabric but if you ever come here, it's highly disorganized nearly impossible to find anything. Don't waste your time driving here. He likes to boast he has been in business for 40 years but one wonders how he survived collecting remnants and telling you to go go treasure hunting.

After opening the package I found a small piece of fabric inside that was very cut very choppily. Honestly looked like it was cut by a child. This was definitely not a shawl. It did not even cover my mom's shoulders and she is not a very broad woman. I called the store and asked if I could get a refund because I was unhappy with my purchase. The owner was extremely rude and not understanding and hung up on me after I told him I'm a student and cannot afford to lose $300. This was supposed to be my first expensive present for my mom I paid for after getting employed. I am so sad and disappointed with this experience. Would never shop here again :(

I had the measurements of the couch I’m recovering so she showed me how to calculate how much fabric I needed. I am so pleased with what I purchased and how I was treated. I will be coming back for all of my fabric needs.

With phenomenal fabric selection of a quality that is second to none, Sultan's Fine Fabric is hands down the best garment-focused fabric store in the GTA. I can’t wait to go back again.

Sultan himself is warm, welcoming, and absolutely encyclopedic. No one knows wool like he does! One of my favourite things to do is drop by on my way into the city, take in the newest additions (always ahead of trend) and rummage through the piles of discounted ends. I always leave happy and weighted down with gorgeous yards of luxury fabrics at a fabulous price. Go! Enjoy! You will not be disappointed.
