J	J. Peters on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Favorite community grocery store with local, BC brands - shopping local never felt better. Great selection of fresh produce and food with an amazing flower department - ask for STEMS! They do the best flower arrangements!
K	Ken C on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Milk 10 days past the best before date still on the shelf. My bad for not checking before buying, your bad for not checking as well. Who is responsible for the dairy section? One or two days is understandable, but 10 is more than a week.
D	Darius S on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice shop with very busy staff. All is average “ok” but… I tried several times to order a salad from the salad bar. Every single time it’s a problem. There is always a big group of people behind the salad bar, that should reassure you that you will be served quickly and can get on with your lunch….well no, that’s not case here. Why? Who knows, I always order Greek salad and I always get it without the feta cheese (main component of the salad) - when I ask the staff to include the feta cheese I’m being spoken down to….”it’s all mixed” “ you can’t pick what you want” - I thought that was the reason of a salad bar …that you can choose the salad you like :O it’s just very AKWARD service here. Spoke to the “manager” several times, same rude staff same negative comments. All products are higher prices comparing to Safeway or save on foods. At least there you don’t have to stress out to get lunch..so disappointing. Have a look at the “Greek salad” according to Stongs. Feta equals gold here (####)

Although google lists them as masks required for staff, which is not true. The employee who helped me at the deli, and one of the management staff at check out were not wearing them. (I was still comfortable, they we’re both very clean and polite.)
L	Lisa Stewart on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a lovely place to shop! There is a really interesting selection of products to buy and wonderful specialty items. The flower and gift department is awesome! I love the take home pizza’s. The egg salad sandwiches from the deli are the next best thing other than having my Mom’s...and she makes the best! The bakery is delightful with a ton of delicious offerings. The staff are all very friendly and helpful! I always have a pleasant experience here.

I like it a lot better now than before as the produce area has a lot more choices and the veggies are much more fresh looking. The other areas are also reflected these changes. I will switch to buy from Stong's instead of Wholefood from now on. Also the pricing is more reasonable and I like the reward points.

Exceptional service, great pricing, fresh groceries, and meat and seafood section is amazing! We love that Stong’s Market is a big supporter of local brands! This stores location stocks our YVR women owned line of seasonings called Grandpa J's. Thank you for being a true leader in supporting local small businesses like our own and others! Try our Greko Lemon seasoning- for perfect Greek lemon roast potatoes tonight, follow the instructions on the jar! or our Vancity Grind on your next steak or veggie grill night or as a Caesar rim! Cheers! Side note- we grew up shopping at Stong’s on East 22nd Ave in the 80’s as little girls with our grandma and mom. We are proud to have our products on the shelves. ❤️??
K	Kaila Butler on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Started shopping at Stongs cuz I moved to the area and I've been pleasantly surprised by how friendly the staff are - it's very unlike a typical grocery store. I love the emphasis Stongs puts on selling local products and the little fridge that was left out over Christmas so staff could have a couple of days off without people being unable to grab last minute items. The one thing that's really hammered home my love of Stongs are the little labels that identify gluten and dairy free foods. I'm not sure if this was implemented during COVID so people don't need to pick up items and read labels or has always existed, but I'm undergoing some medical testing and on a strict diet and these labels have made shopping infinitely easier. It's so appreciated.
