If you are looking for pastries with a little cute factor to them, then Stuffies is where it's at. We got a box of mixed bears and whales with both custard and red velvet stuffings. For a little extra you can get their specialty pastries with extra topping on them. Their tayakis were also very delicious!! We tried the pizza and Thai chicken, both were filled with lots of flavour and they serve them fresh! If you are in the North Van area be sure to stop by Stuffies which is really close off the highway!

small pastry cafe in Guildford Mall. They have a variety of different Taiyaki like pastries, which is basically japanese dessert waffle, and their taiyaki comes in both fish shaped or bear shaped with red bean / custard filling inside. it was really cool that you can watch how they make it directly in fron of you, and purchase the assorted flavours of the tiny taiyakis. My friend got the vanilla cro-tai, it had a nice croissant like crisp texture but was wayyy too sweet overall... we were kind of disappointed Vanilla Cro-tai - $3.95

Cute little pastry shop with stuffed bears and fish, filled with different flavors. The items can be bought and customized with sprinkles and toppings or left plain. Either way they are very cute and delicious. First time to try but would happily stop in again and pick up for friends or whoever likes sweets.

This is our second time there, first time went flawlessly so we expected the same today. It was really empty when we went in today, and we noticed there was almost no inventory in the display shelf (on a Saturday at 2pm)?! We wanted to get sprinkle stuffies as a gift so we were willing to wait, they told us 15 mins. Upon checking out we also decided to get some day-old Cro-tai for sale, because why not? (We don't like to see food go to waste) 30 mins later we came back to the store to find that our order was still not ready. while we patiently waited for the order, we kindly asked the staff to heat up one of the Cro-tai but was told that they "do not heat up day old Cro-tai s", not even a simple microwave as a favor to customers... And when the order was finally ready, they informed us that one of the sprinkled stuffies was messed up and they offered to replace it with an extra regular stuffie... That is clearly Not what we had wanted for our gift box, especially after a 30 mins-wait for a single 24pack box.. but we were in a rush so we had to leave. Eating a cold Cro-tai. Never coming back again.

I've been here a couple of times (prior to the pandemic), absolutely love what they have to offer! I've gotten boxes of their 'stuffies' for work events, cute treats to share with different flavours, although my favourite is still their vanilla custard. Their cro-tai is excellent, a good portion for lunch. Their thai chicken is so savoury, but they have sweeter options as well. Aside from that, I've had their lobster bisque both times (once I called in advance and the staff were kind enough to make some/heat some up since it wasn't their daily soup). It is so tasty that I've had to take some out on both my visits! I wonder if this soup is still a flavour they offer? Anyways, it's not close to home so I have to make a special trip out, but it's well worth it for their selection. Being near a bus loop, it's also convenient for a quick coffee/treat.

Yummy flavours. Flaky pastry. A bit pricey and out of the way but tasty.

Taste was ok but I found a hair in my cro-tai! Yuck! I wouldn't recommend buying day-old stuff because even with re-heating, the crust gets very hard and is inedible. If you are having these, have them fresh! The tuna cro-tai was good. The bacon one was just okay. And the cinnamon was okay too. The stuffies are very tiny - less than 2 inches tall. Was unimpressed by the size. The vanilla custard tasted only ok. I wouldn't get them again.

I tried the Vanilla Bear and the Mango Carp. Server gave me a hot and fresh batch. I liked the Mango better. Quite pricy for the size, but I would consider trying more cute treats in the future.
