★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This lodge is located on a beautiful property but is in need of renovation. The food at the restaurant in the lodge was delicious. Good place for a nice and quiet getaway.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They have kayak and boat rental. Ask front desk. Lake has fish in it. Very serene place. Lodge itself quite an old house. Second floor room has shared balcony. But no sceered door, so cannot keep the door open for bugs. Window is not functional considering an old AC attached to it, so practically no view from room.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice hotel, kind of gave me Bates Motel vibes but who doesn’t like a switch up once and a while. Located out in the woods with lots to explore and beautiful scenery. The rooms were small and out dated but the location and amenities made up for it! Had a blast

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed there in our 5th Wheel for a week. Good food and excellent lake view site. Very friendly staff and owner. Had hair cut in old style barbershop by a very nice lady who operates it. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a different place to go.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The safari tents are awesome but don't let the pictures fool you ,there is NO electricity for the lamps and charger in the pictures so be prepared.
The lodge itself could use some serious work but the staff and property are both very nice.
The lake is shallow and weedy but nothing anyone can change.
I would come back again but would be waiting for a bit better deal next time .
Overall was a good adult night away .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been here several times now and the food is great and the service even better. I've eaten indoors and out here. Nice view of the lake and sun sets. Melissa is an attentive, personable server! Very good at her job and seems like she like it. Kudos. I will be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a really great time here a few weekends ago - the staff (especially Natalie) were so accommodating with room set up and ice fishing! And the restaurant was awesome and great to be around locals, live music and good food! Will definitely have to come back in the summer for the Rodeo!!
