★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are looking for a place to sleep, this hotel is not for you. There is the bar next door that runs so late and you will hear everything from your room just like you are in that bar.
It is cheaper than others but I would have paid more if only I khew it was this bad.
The building is old and funky.
After 11 pm, no one will be there for you, according to my experience.
I was looking for a night stay just to catch the ferry to Victoria in the morning, so we found this place. We arrived at 11:30 pm, the front door was locked. I saw two people were sitting inside, we pressed the call box nothing happened, so we made a phone call, they picked up and told us to go get the keys at the bar next door.
We got our keys, room number 12, I made a mistake by did not pay attention on details so it was a bathroom shared. The room was old, nothing worth $101 USD but it was ok, it was Saturday night in the middle of summer. Until bedtime, I found out it was a nightmare because the bar was so loud just like we slept in the middle it.
