M	Matthew Lount on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overpriced. You pay the same price for poor condition used furniture that you would for good condition mid century modern furniture basically anywhere else. And there's little selection. Sometimes they have some nice art though.
I	Ian W on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Texted them an image of a painting by Jan Zimmermann I had purchased at a DVSA spring art auction for $120. My asking price was $40. The owner texted me "Ya that's fair". I assumed that meant he was willing to pay $40. Went down there at my expense to make the sale and found that "ya that's fair" didn't mean he was going to buy it, which he didn't.

My Aunt who is VERY IMPORTANT and SPECIAL to our family fell across the street from this business. The owners ran out, called 911and completely took care of her. They stayed with her until the ambulance arrived and even went to her house to deal with some urgent matters for her. Can you imagine from our point of view?? This kind of kindness and care for someone we cherish. We will sing their praises for decades to come. Please join me and support this business owned by two very kind people. Apparently, someone from my company bought some furniture from him and he was unhappy with their exchange. He'd actually just gotten off the phone with a guy who works in that department and didn't mention anything. Even when he called back into our office, the assistant who took his call (who's also male) said he didn't seem upset. The assistant mistakenly transferred the call to me, but obviously the minute the owner heard a female voice he felt it was okay to just go off on a tirade that HAD ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH ME. I offered to give him the number of someone who could ACTUALLY help him and he hung up on me, satisfied with his verbal abuse.
R	Rex Sterling on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff here is rude and aggressive; After being ignored for several minutes I asked for the price of an item and was met with a bizarre rant rather than an answer. At first I thought my experience might have been unique or unusual but many others I have talked to have shared similar experiences. On top of that the inventory is mediocre and often overpriced. I went in enthusiastically expecting the kind of welcoming environment of many of Hamilton's fine vintage dealers but after the aforementioned exchange I couldn't get out of the place fast enough. Best to avoid this shop entirely....

Said I didn't have to buy it after finding it last year at auction from 25 to 50 bucks. He was selling his at 200. Called me ridiculous as I walked out. Hilarious! I actually was back for the second time this week. I was a new potential customer. He complained to me he had to deal with people asking for deals all day like it justified his behavior. Guess what, with your mark ups, no kidding people do. Do you think I should just pay whatever you ask for things? Funny thing is, I never even asked for a discount. I just was curious how he came up with his prices. Sorry pal, but I am not going to subsidize your golf game, which is where you were on Tuesday, just because you think I should.
